Mario and the seven stars got me into rpg's, megaman X got me into fast paste games, X was my childhood hero till i was 13 then i KICK HIS ASS with zero in X5 hahaha.
I like the remix for it keeps the feel of the original and makes me ROCK OUT
The real question is why did Dr Light make X's feet so godamn big? You see how agile he is with them, imagine him with smaller ones. He could jump to the moon!

@711nong But you'd figure with all the advacements in technology in that game, all of his abilities wouldn't require such huge feet. I mean, technology seems to keep getting smaller and smaller but more powerful at the same time. So by then, you would figure he wouldn't need such a huge storage for the technology that enables his abilities.
@Metafron My guess is that Dr Light didnt have the technology to fit the boots to do everything he wanted to do in a smaller package. Im wondering more why Zero and X have almost the same schematics even thought they were made by different people who had no idea about the others creation.
@Metafron It's his knees down, I assume this is what gives X the ability to jump so high, also I'm assuming his dash hardware is stored inside of his legs, since unlike Zero his feet don't have jets.
@ShadowSoldior X dashes with quick, hard, pushes off the ground to make him jet forward. the size holds the basic movement tech to react to the electronic brain, as well as the tech to evolve along with X's growth. the space inside is less vacant than it seems, because the plating is thick to add resistance since feet have the most wear-and-tear. Dr.Lights dash upgrade enhances the A.I.s processing speed to allow quick thrusts and lightens X's body armor to allow "gliding" across the ground

A Reploids are robots with their original design being copied from X thats why they are called REPloids as in Replica.
X is the ORIGINAL robot, the term reploid came from when Dr.Cain tried to copy X's Design making reploids.
Zero was created almost the same time as X. Dr. Wily created Zero as his last Robot just like how Dr. Light made X as his last. They were made from different designs so Zero isnt a reploid.

Call me old-fashioned, but aren't remixes of one song supposed to make that song sound...better? This does NOT sound better than the original. In fact, it sounds worse. To be honest, the first time I heard this remix, I thought they actually put it in one of the Megaman Zero games on the GBA. Yes, it's that bad.

This mix is done by U-GEN they have a lot of other mixes of Mega Man. My favorites have to be of MM7-Intro Stage, MM8-Duo's Theme, MMX2-Vs. Zero & Fire Man/Heat Man Sworn Bros. of Flame. I'll maybe upload the whole album on my other channel if I can find it completely.

@OYuanO On a personal note I prefer Zero, because X is a pacifist. I don't(and may never)understand why someone who hates fighting is in an action game. All X does is complain about how he hates fighting(which is pretty much an insult to the genre and fans of it)and yet still keeps fighting even though Zero and Axl can do without him. He's just as annoying as Nakoruru from SNK's Samurai Showdown series. If you hate fighting so much, then stand aside, because it makes no sense if others can.

If you've played the Games he got revenge on Sigma for Zero, when Zero was asleep during the Elf Wars he was fighting for 100-300 years by himself and plus all of the Adventures he's been thru he fought hard to save mankind and succeded. The reason MMZ is so ambiguous is because X6 was dropped into Keiji Inafune's lap out of nowhere. If you jump directly from the X5 ending (which was supposed to be the final game of the X series.), that's where the whole reactivating Zero bit, and Zero still being all messed up, were taken from.

Ok, with random bits of information I've seen, I think I've found an answer to the entire megaman series timeline!(Note:In this solution, X6-8(And the "Unreleased" 9)Are Canon(Meaning they acctually happened)Here's my solution.
Megaman EXE series started first, followed by Starforce...
In an unreleased starforce 4, (Which may be a 2-version game, maybe one of the version being something like Armageddon Phoenix)Mega ends up---(Continued in next post, running out of room T_T)
Mega ends up turning 99% of the human race into EM waves so they can survive a giant explosion that the final boss makes upon defeat. Then, maybe about 10 milleniums later, the origional megaman series shows up, and then, this so called "Virus" in megaman 10 ends up being the Maverick virus, as a last hope, Light contains the virus, but being unable to destroy it before he died, he put it inside a new Megaman(We all know him as X)And Wily ends up---Continued...AGAIN T_T...
Wily(The one from EXE, who was in a sleep machine that preserved him all these years) ends up making a robot immobile to the virus(Zero)In order to take over the world when megaman was killed by the virus. Eventually, Zero kills Wily, but is unable to get out of the lab. Then, whoever found X, ended up releasing him before the virus was completely gone, and sigma knocks the malfunctioning anti-virus chip out of Zero, which had gotten full, and Zero kept the immunity(Continued...AGAIN O_O...)
We all know what happens after this. X Sigma pwns Zero, X thinks he found Zero, but its acctually Omega from MMZ3. Things continue on until the unreleased MMX9, where the people from starforce that got transformed by mega get re-discovered, and get the name "Cyber Elves" Omega then goes crazy here, thus destroying X and stuff. They had replaced Zero's mind, and put it in a copy, and put the Omega mind in the origional, and then...Ah, gtg T_T.
that's either good as humor, or is way too much thinking. Megaman EXE, Megaman Starforce and Megaman Zero are just spinoffs of the original storyline, and been made only to make more money off the concept of "ability steal/swap" in games/animes. as for the spine of it all, Megaman (Rockman) is the original 1st and started out as a game where u choose a level, blast the boss, get it's power, move on to the next.
@LordVeldrin Takes place at least roughly a century from where X6 ended (Zero's ending to be precise). The other X games after it takes place in an alternate tangent.
@kaihedgie for this case we don't know which is the true ending because we know that in x ending zero is with him thus megaman X7 and X8 was made. and in Zero's ending Megaman Zero was created and so on. So we don't know which is the original storyline.

TOO BAD YOU SHOULD OF PLAYED IT WHEN IT CAME OUT NOVICES!!!). Anyway,the original body must have been the one who went on to X7 and X8 while the copy was dorment until MMZ. I think that's the most accurate view.
@Ninja07Keaton Ah, that does make sense, even though I'm not a fan of wikipedia it has said that Weil was born before or during the Maverick wars if that is true. So it would come no surprise that Zero's identity would of been doubled as a copy during his slumber. Though it has said that in the end of Megaman Zero that during the Maverick wars X had been fighting alone after Zero's began his Slumber, so either something happened after X8 to Zero or This theory doesn't work at all.
@DarkFlip22 Remeber that Weil made Omega using Zero's original body. So Weil must have done something near the end of that war. I know the Elf wars started right where the Maverick wars stopped and it only said and showed things about X, the Dark Elf and Omega. In the X timeline the Maverick wars is still going on with no signs of ending,so there is a great many things that have not happened yet.
@HiryuIIIV As I said before many things have yet to happen,I only named his biggest impacts in the story regarding Zero to fill the part of the story for the X series everyone was so confused on. I would assume they had to find some way to make X7 and X8 canon and MMZ3 was their way of doing it. What can be said,Capcom does a poor job of story telling. Megaman X,Zero and ZX have the best story telling overall but that's not saying much.
They stopped doing things behind Inafune's back after X6. Since he didn't give them permission, (and because X6 sucked) he started his own subsidiary, known as Inti Creates. Capcom themselves can do whatever the hell they want with X, but everything else belongs to Keiji Inafune.
@PaperRayman Oh no I agree with you on those scenes, they drop a lot of hints, and yes they do show the silhouette of wily but they never come out and just say it or give the full story on it. Hopefully in the future capcom will make another X game like X4 or even X5...and finish up the story. X4 is the best game I've ever played.
Personally, X5 is my favorite. Anyway, a hint is even given in a Classic series game. In Bass's ending of "Rockman: The Power Battle" (Or Power Fighters, I could be mistaken) Wily tells him about his "newest creation", and shows a blueprint or something of Zero.

Capcom said this themselves in an interview with MegaPhilX. (Look him up on YouTube if you don't know him) "If another X game is made, it won't be X9".

Just because the games were made, does not mean they were Canon.
If you take it from the X5 ending standpoint, it makes sense that Zero would be found abandoned. However, Zero never met any form of a demise to lead to MMZ1, so the X5 ending was clearly an ending, and thus the only logical conclusion was that X6-8 and command mission never happened in the storyline.
are you dumb? the games were never considered non-canon. the x series was suppose to stop at 5 but continued on untill command mission. that never made x6 and beyond, non canon, it just messed up the story in a way. Zero's lead up to Z1 was after the elf war when he decided to seal himself away which was 100 years before Z1. thats the real lead up to Z1. X5 was suppose to be the ending but capcom continued there way with the X series untill command mission.
@clipzodai MMX6- COMMAND MISSION ARE CANON. . go to the megaman wiki to read the storyline. and there are some TRIVIAS why capcom made x6-x8. . . they didnt want X to turn to a bad guy.
...That isn't a very good reason, and not to mention that you still haven't presented proof. The LARGE fanbase, and I'm pretty sure that the makers agree as well, that x6-8 amd CM are Non-canon. And X was never a bad guy, Copy X was the bad guy.

@DjangoBoktai As you stated in one of your posts X6 was made without keiji Inafune's knowledge. Despite that he could not just ignore the game or story in X6 otherwise it would confuse fans. If you notice in the beginning of MMZ1 Zero's body is damaged in nearly identical fashion to the ending of X5 showing that it was meant to follow that ending. However, X6 revived Zero and had him hibernate in the ending. To explain that they decided to create Omega/ Original Zero.
Let me rephrase... So in X6 Zero (in his ending) went to hibernate and in X's he didn't. I believe that the timeline splits in two in that point. Zero's ending leads us to Mega Man Zero and evetually ZX, while X's ending continues the story of X series. However, Zero's ending didn't reveal the time of the hibernation, so it might as well be in the future, after the X series (which still leads to Zero series)

Ever consider the X6 ending for Zero a fore-shadowing of whats to come in the future?
That would be a probable conclusion, but also keep in mind that the whole time-line paradox started with Capcom, they and another company had to fill in the gaps for inequities that arose, since they deviated from Inafune's design. Hence why it gets so messy once you deal with X6 and up, because you have this separate branch called MMZ thats so ambiguous.

Considering Zero's been the "side-kick" throughout the entire X series, though you get to play as him later on in X4+; X is still considered the main guy.
Honestly Inafune even wanted Zero to be the main character, not sure if he even acknowledges X that much.
So there's nothing wrong with Zero getting his own friggin action packed series, although it does ruin the entire plot line a little....(sarcasm)
You still have to pretty much collect his parts throughout the game, >_>...urgh, I have a feeling that may have been X2....curse my distorted memories.

This mix is done by U-GEN they have a lot of other mixes of Mega Man. My favorites have to be of MM7-Intro Stage, MM8-Duo's Theme, MMX2-Vs. Zero & Fire Man/Heat Man Sworn Bros. of Flame. I'll maybe upload the whole album on my other channel if I can find it completely.

@OYuanO On a personal note I prefer Zero, because X is a pacifist. I don't(and may never)understand why someone who hates fighting is in an action game. All X does is complain about how he hates fighting(which is pretty much an insult to the genre and fans of it)and yet still keeps fighting even though Zero and Axl can do without him. He's just as annoying as Nakoruru from SNK's Samurai Showdown series. If you hate fighting so much, then stand aside, because it makes no sense if others can.

@Ninja07Keaton Yeah, my cuz said the same thing. =] He has the potential but he's not 100% Pacifist cause he still fights. If you've played the Games he got revenge on Sigma for Zero, when Zero was asleep during the Elf Wars he was fighting for 100-300 years by himself and plus all of the Adventures he's been thru he fought hard to save mankind and succeded. At first when Sigma was still good he couldn't pull the Trigger but yeah after TONS OF YEARS later he doesn't want to fight anymore. -_-

hmmmm...-_- I'm still siding with X even though Zero was suppose to be the Main Character until the Creator made X the Main. T_T 1) X can copy any abilities 2) He's gotten stronger in every fight he's been thru like Sayians do! I like Zero and X but I've always liked X since the beggining! >:D All Reploids were made after X's design thus being the "Father of All". ;D Strange why nothing was based off of Zero. O_O Another interesting thing is X and Zero from the creators words aren't really Reploids themselves but have thus been reffered to as. =] In my opinion it would be a draw from them battling each other but X is a God and So is Zero!!! >:O I would like X to win cause X is Unlimited/Infinte though Zero is Absolute.

The reason MMZ is so ambiguous is because X6 was dropped into Keiji Inafune's lap out of nowhere. If you jump directly from the X5 ending (which was supposed to be the final game of the X series.), that's where the whole reactivating Zero bit, and Zero still being all messed up, were taken from.

the true storyline is on zeros ending since mmx6 was created without the mmx creators permision,in otherwords,the x series was actually going to end at 5 if it wasnt for capcom running low on money,since this made em create mmx6.

Ok, with random bits of information I've seen, I think I've found an answer to the entire megaman series timeline!(Note:In this solution, X6-8(And the "Unreleased" 9)Are Canon(Meaning they acctually happened)Here's my solution.
Megaman EXE series started first, followed by Starforce...
In an unreleased starforce 4, (Which may be a 2-version game, maybe one of the version being something like Armageddon Phoenix)Mega ends up---(Continued in next post, running out of room T_T)

Mega ends up turning 99% of the human race into EM waves so they can survive a giant explosion that the final boss makes upon defeat. Then, maybe about 10 milleniums later, the origional megaman series shows up, and then, this so called "Virus" in megaman 10 ends up being the Maverick virus, as a last hope, Light contains the virus, but being unable to destroy it before he died, he put it inside a new Megaman(We all know him as X)And Wily ends up---Continued...AGAIN T_T...

Wily(The one from EXE, who was in a sleep machine that preserved him all these years) ends up making a robot immobile to the virus(Zero)In order to take over the world when megaman was killed by the virus. Eventually, Zero kills Wily, but is unable to get out of the lab. Then, whoever found X, ended up releasing him before the virus was completely gone, and sigma knocks the malfunctioning anti-virus chip out of Zero, which had gotten full, and Zero kept the immunity(Continued...AGAIN O_O...)

We all know what happens after this. X Sigma pwns Zero, X thinks he found Zero, but its acctually Omega from MMZ3. Things continue on until the unreleased MMX9, where the people from starforce that got transformed by mega get re-discovered, and get the name "Cyber Elves" Omega then goes crazy here, thus destroying X and stuff. They had replaced Zero's mind, and put it in a copy, and put the Omega mind in the origional, and then...Ah, gtg T_T.

that's either good as humor, or is way too much thinking. Megaman EXE, Megaman Starforce and Megaman Zero are just spinoffs of the original storyline, and been made only to make more money off the concept of "ability steal/swap" in games/animes. as for the spine of it all, Megaman (Rockman) is the original 1st and started out as a game where u choose a level, blast the boss, get it's power, move on to the next.

@kaihedgie for this case we don't know which is the true ending because we know that in x ending zero is with him thus megaman X7 and X8 was made. and in Zero's ending Megaman Zero was created and so on. So we don't know which is the original storyline.

What i was saying to the that user is that we don't which ending is the original, we only know that megaman Zero is based from after zero's rest and goes on through his lifeline until number 4. and X7 and x8 is X's storyline with Zero with him fighting alongside.

@DarkFlip22 I'm pretty sure you already know this, but the body for Zero in MMZ was a copy of the original one as shown in the climax of MMZ3(Did I spoil it for anyone? TOO BAD YOU SHOULD OF PLAYED IT WHEN IT CAME OUT NOVICES!!!). Anyway,the original body must have been the one who went on to X7 and X8 while the copy was dorment until MMZ. I think that's the most accurate view.

@Ninja07Keaton Ah, that does make sense, even though I'm not a fan of wikipedia it has said that Weil was born before or during the Maverick wars if that is true. So it would come no surprise that Zero's identity would of been doubled as a copy during his slumber. Though it has said that in the end of Megaman Zero that during the Maverick wars X had been fighting alone after Zero's began his Slumber, so either something happened after X8 to Zero or This theory doesn't work at all.

@DarkFlip22 Remeber that Weil made Omega using Zero's original body. So Weil must have done something near the end of that war. I know the Elf wars started right where the Maverick wars stopped and it only said and showed things about X, the Dark Elf and Omega. In the X timeline the Maverick wars is still going on with no signs of ending,so there is a great many things that have not happened yet.

@HiryuIIIV As I said before many things have yet to happen,I only named his biggest impacts in the story regarding Zero to fill the part of the story for the X series everyone was so confused on. I would assume they had to find some way to make X7 and X8 canon and MMZ3 was their way of doing it. What can be said,Capcom does a poor job of story telling. Megaman X,Zero and ZX have the best story telling overall but that's not saying much.

They stopped doing things behind Inafune's back after X6. Since he didn't give them permission, (and because X6 sucked) he started his own subsidiary, known as Inti Creates. Capcom themselves can do whatever the hell they want with X, but everything else belongs to Keiji Inafune.

@PaperRayman Oh no I agree with you on those scenes, they drop a lot of hints, and yes they do show the silhouette of wily but they never come out and just say it or give the full story on it. Hopefully in the future capcom will make another X game like X4 or even X5...and finish up the story. X4 is the best game I've ever played.

Personally, X5 is my favorite. Anyway, a hint is even given in a Classic series game. In Bass's ending of "Rockman: The Power Battle" (Or Power Fighters, I could be mistaken) Wily tells him about his "newest creation", and shows a blueprint or something of Zero.

Maybe it could continue off X5 in a way(seeing how the story cuts off in different parallell realities anyways)..and just call it MegaMan X and Zero..Then they should get to all the nitty gritty dark shit about Zero's past and creation details..but have X totally involved.. I dunno...

Just because the games were made, does not mean they were Canon.
If you take it from the X5 ending standpoint, it makes sense that Zero would be found abandoned. However, Zero never met any form of a demise to lead to MMZ1, so the X5 ending was clearly an ending, and thus the only logical conclusion was that X6-8 and command mission never happened in the storyline.

are you dumb? the games were never considered non-canon. the x series was suppose to stop at 5 but continued on untill command mission. that never made x6 and beyond, non canon, it just messed up the story in a way. Zero's lead up to Z1 was after the elf war when he decided to seal himself away which was 100 years before Z1. thats the real lead up to Z1. X5 was suppose to be the ending but capcom continued there way with the X series untill command mission.

@kimialvin7 MMX 6-8 and CM ARE non canon. capcom made X6 behind Infuane the orginal director of megaman and made it without his knowledge just to milk out more money.even though the games were fun and Axl was made by Infuane and made as a cameo in MMZ4(kraft supposedly) and ZXA(model A) does not mean they are canon, they were never supposed to happen.

@DjangoBoktai As you stated in one of your posts X6 was made without keiji Inafune's knowledge. Despite that he could not just ignore the game or story in X6 otherwise it would confuse fans. If you notice in the beginning of MMZ1 Zero's body is damaged in nearly identical fashion to the ending of X5 showing that it was meant to follow that ending. However, X6 revived Zero and had him hibernate in the ending. To explain that they decided to create Omega/ Original Zero.

Let me rephrase... So in X6 Zero (in his ending) went to hibernate and in X's he didn't. I believe that the timeline splits in two in that point. Zero's ending leads us to Mega Man Zero and evetually ZX, while X's ending continues the story of X series. However, Zero's ending didn't reveal the time of the hibernation, so it might as well be in the future, after the X series (which still leads to Zero series)

Ever consider the X6 ending for Zero a fore-shadowing of whats to come in the future?
That would be a probable conclusion, but also keep in mind that the whole time-line paradox started with Capcom, they and another company had to fill in the gaps for inequities that arose, since they deviated from Inafune's design. Hence why it gets so messy once you deal with X6 and up, because you have this separate branch called MMZ thats so ambiguous.

Considering Zero's been the "side-kick" throughout the entire X series, though you get to play as him later on in X4+; X is still considered the main guy.
Honestly Inafune even wanted Zero to be the main character, not sure if he even acknowledges X that much.
So there's nothing wrong with Zero getting his own friggin action packed series, although it does ruin the entire plot line a little....(sarcasm)
