@rollercoastersrock Oh I wasn't specific, I was talking about the one in Disneyland because I recently went there and was bummed because it's no longer operating. :P

@MissStitchy Ohh okay, they closed it as the People Mover in 1995. They reused the track to open Rocket Rods in 1998 which was a faster, more thrilling ride. That ride caused a lot of wear and tear on the track and was costing them more than it was worth. It ended up closing the ride in 2001 and left the tracks there. They haven't done anything with it since.

@MissStitchy The only reason the track is probably still there is because removing it would most likely require most of Tomorrowland to be closed since the track is above many of the walkways in the section. Can't exactly have people walking around through a construction site lol

@295g295 Nothing has, they worked on the bathrooms below but other than the the Skyway station has been completely removed. As far as I know it's just an empty area now.

I miss the "People Movers," the original transit authority ride. There use to be a section of the ride (at least at Disneyland) that had a Tron segment which was cool.

I agree, the old one was like a real futuristic train service with like weather reports as you went past the speedway. The new one just advertises the rides as they go past. Disney are making some foolish mistakes.

new soundtrack is not as good as the old one! Wish they would change it back.
