Ok, so we know that, in the past it was normal earth. Then something happened and people needed Aurora Fields around cities, and if you hang too close to one you become an inhuman being. Then the guy and Saya show up, Saya has extra storage space/isn't human, and the guy has a super eye/arm.They escaped from 'Project'. In the future Saya is the ancestral spirit in Lyrin. Oh and for some reason people can have super powers and the world is dead and filled with monsters.
