156 HP? Even for the low compression turbo, that's pretty low. The torque is right where it should be though.

This must be a 2.0t, not a 2.0T. The engines are basically identical except for different turbos and injectors. The 2.0T makes 210hp and the 2.0t makes about 178hp (stock). In 2005 the 2.0T was standard on the Aero, optional on the Arc, and unavailable on the Linear.

its 156 at wheels if you know anything about cars the hp is always lower at the wheels.

you just get more resistance from the wheels and other parts so it shows true horsepower.
