it all depends on your taste i used to build theese trucks all the time in my shope there fun but not as fun as my old truck it was a 1974 gmc all beet up and rusted but it was a stealth killer it had a rebuilt 350 in it blown dual carb almost 950 hp and over 1100 foot pounds of torque now theese trucks are commonly bagged because there strong framed and easy to do take off the bed cut the frame c-notch it box it in put you 3 or 4 link in some cut a whole in the bed i always

The 350 is so overrated and over done,you see them at every single corner and there is nothing interesting about them anymore. They are a dime a dozen junk yard motors and some think they are the only way to go. HAHA! Make some vids of that 302 powered truck for us!

I got sick of it and we put a 351 Windsor in it out of a 69 Galaxie and that was one bad S.O.B! I blew lots of Camero's away that had the 350 in it and they would be furious! They claimed I ruined a good car but it blew the doors off of theirs!? Im still trying to figure out how I "ruined" it! lol!

@bigbadbronco86 That seems to be what everyone says. When I put a 351 into my camero, it was honestly one of the easiest things I ever done. I used a fox body oil pan, 65 mustang water pump (right side outlet) so I could use the GM radiator, drilled the mounting hole on GM alternator to fit Ford, and used motor mount stands and mounts from a 69 Galaxie and it fit exactly perfect. Then I modified the original shifter,65 stang exhaust,cut the drive shaft 2 inch and called it a day!

@airassualt100 well i personally like the idea of a ford powered gm lol but im just saying that statistaclly it doesnt take much to find and build a small block chevy, i could go out to the 350 tree in my back yard right now and pick a couple lol its harder to come by an old 351 w/c/m, not to mention that when you actually do find it its more expensive usually, i guess really it all just comes down to what you want
