well actually America does have a culture in someway. But their culture is more rooted in her past as a set of colonies in the the British Empire.Most of the prinicples America is built on was adopted from the British. But they don't really have a distinct culture. They do however have somethings that are distinct with America. Like for an ex: they were the first nation to lay the foundation of their government in the belief that sovereignty rests with the people and not the government.

Even if you mean "traditional culture", that's not true. But a lot of it has been forgotten. A lot of it is also shameful, dark ages of slavery, plantations. Cultural things that are typically american: the deep south, new orleans, spirituals, jazz, bluegrass, hillbillies, tap dance, mark twain, tennessee williams, cowboys, californian culture (the combination of yoga, beach, vegetarianism...), etc.

No culture as ancient, but we have some, just more modern. Cowboys and the wild west. Cruising on a saturday night in the fifties and sixties. Old motorcycle gangs. Stuff like that.
