It is our job as MMA fighters to be well rounded so you always have the advantage. That's my philosophy. Last time I checked MMA stands for Mixed Martial Arts. In case you didn't know( DarxLotus) that means one style versus another do your homework. I have been doing mine for many years.
Normal crowd???? Funny buddy, so what's "normal" to you? I should be competing the with real fighters, like myself. In MMA no matter what style you fight, there are advantages, and disadvantages. If you are a grappling/wrestling base fighter you could argue that it is a disadvantage to start standing with a striker. If you are a striking based fighter you can argue that you are at a disadvantage when a grappling/wrestler holds you down and beats the hell out of you.
I'm not likr Bruteshot saying he shouldn't compete, but he shouldn't be competing with the normal crowd. It could be considered an advantage or vise versa.
