For clarity on the rapture issue, one needs to study Hebrew roots and it will be evidenced beyond a shadow of doubt the pre-trib perspective is accurate. The Last Trump is blown on Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets). The Hebrew for Last Trump is Tehillah Togadolah (spelling?). Not the 7th judgement trumpet which was not even mentioned until about 30 years after Paul wrote to the Corinthians. Ponder why no one questioned Paul what he meant by last trump if John gad not been on Patmos yet.

the rapture and the resurrection of the saints is one event.
the SAVED are the elect in the tribulation they're are part of the house of israel or the commonwealth of israel and we are needed as witness in the end times to glorify God and prepare the people for the second advent.
the pre-trib rapture theory was coned up by a 15 year old catholic girl who had a vision sometime in the 18th century.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 as you quote refers to the event after the resurrection of the saints

The Rapture is a satanic lie to decieve the 'faithful' into thinking they get a golden pass out of the Tribualtion.
When instead they should 'know' that Anti Christ comes first, and that the True elect will be here to fight the hardest.
The Rapture is satanic trickery, to pacify and decieve. Very similar to military tractics. Make your enemies think you are their friend.

ha, ha, ROTFLMAO. It's an almanac! A freaking star catalog. No one is coming to save you, save yourself. Re-read the bible with the knowledge that it is an allegorical story of the moving stars, aka astro-theology. It's hard, but just try and maybe you'll taste that apple bite.

Revelation 12:5 We can be caught up... or raptured...
regardless of our taste for terms... its going to happen.

For the record, the word "rapture" comes from the Latin word rapturo, which is a translation of the Greek verb "caught up" that's found in 1 Thessalonians 4:17

Revelation was written in AD 68 - Before Jerusalem fell.
The internal evidence within the book, greatly out-weighs the one misinterpreted sentence from Ireneus.

Did you watch the whole video? It seems not. Ireneus is not featured at all.Ascension and being caught up, as Elijah was are different. Please watch the whole video before commenting. What you fail to understand is that revelations covers the entire time man has existed. It goes back and forward in time, and it's not in chronological order. That woman is Mary and that child is Jesus. The serpent is Satan that tried to devour that child. Remember when king Herod tried to kill every male child in the NT. It's was then Herod thought Jesus was going to take over his throne. A woman in this case is NOT referred to as the church my friend.
