the y2k phenomena was based on the ascending numbers of the year, 1998 (98), 1999 (99), 2000 (00), 2001 (01). the computers thought that the 2 last digits of the year(98)(99) in 2000 would say 19100 instead of 2000, because 1998, 1999, 19100. get it? because 98>99>100>101 = 1998>1999>2000>2001, its hard to explain typing it but ill make a vid if you want, BUT we may never know it would have happened because in the late 90s they fixed, so it wouldnt happen like that. i hate only 500 chtrs on yt

Not only did people "Predict" y2k as the end but there was a book writen about "81 reasons the world will end in 1981" then when that failad he wrote another about 1985. Then another "prediction about that the world will definetly end in 2003.

These predictions accure when any form of media is doing horribly in hopes that people will get scared and start listening to them. By now the world should have ended 13 times since 1900. and by 2020 there will be 16 "predictions"

I remember, we went to Gardner Mountain store, buying all this camp food. (non perishable food.) flashlights, camp lanterns, & etc... When Jan. 1st came along. Nothing happen.
