It probably is a miracle he is still alive and able to sing and play, though some sad to see a legend fading away...Glad I´m not a member in his backinggroup, it can not be easy to follow him! For better memories of a great artist listen to his recordings from the early 70´s and up to about the mid-/late 80´s :-)
