Great tempo. Though some parts are highly romantized, he ingeniously varied the staccato and legato to a extant that the ray of light no longer melts and its "luminescence" no longer persist "incessantly", but pops in and out and, as a result, sparkles even in bright daylight.
One of the most beautiful things I've ever heard.

I boughht the CD, and although I know quite a lot of Scarlatti, it introduced me many new awesome phunky tunes, dude.

I agree. It's a great school of the art of piano. Here, as in his other Scarlatti recordings, Pletnev makes the most of his abilities.
