  • I was in london and I could see the smoke. It looked like a muchroom cloud on my way back home. Didn't think it would of been alma until I drove past it... :( it was... depressing...

  • u didnt see any smoke, I live in st. t and I didnt see no smoke at my house, I looked to see if I could see the smoke but I couldnt, so no way could u have seen it in london, it wasnt that big of a fire, just an important one

  • The story and pictures on Alma College Burns is on the Port Stanley news website.

    Doug Harvery

  • Thats pretty shitty that it burned down.....if the Government would have stepped in earlier this wouldn't have happend

  • YOu do know that as of 3 hours ago, Alma college is GonE! it burnt down today.

  • The only evidence I have is from watching it burn on my friend's phone who received it from someone else. :(

  • The story and pics on Alma College Burns is on the Port Stanley News website.

  • How high was the fire??? I could smell it from St.Joseph's High School field for God's Sakes. How long did it burn? It So fucking sad!!!!

  • i seen it burn

  • Just burned down, it's dead.

  • It looks really old and warn down in this other video still a really nice looking place though.

  • we took video cameras in there,

    and some candles,

    and oujia boards,

and we contacted some major dark spirits.

  • My grandmother went to this school and it breaks my heart that it was allowed to fall into such disrepare and is slated for the recking ball

  • I can't believe they're knocking it down. So sad.

  • If the Ontario Municipal Board allows thw wrechers ball to swing, this building will soon be gone forever. The OMB hesring was on October 3rd & 4th, 2007 and their decision will probably be handed down within a few short weeks. The estimated cost of restoration is $15 million. If anyone has the financial capability to step up to the plate and save this grand old lady, NOW would be a good time!

  • they say it could cost $20 million simply to make Alma structurally sound. I believe they are appealing to the provincial and federal governments to each give $10 million to get the work done as soon as possible. Let's hope it works. Wish I had the money, I would do it in a heartbeat.

  • Had the Zubick's not been allowed to strip it and let it fall into ruin, it would not have cost nearly so much money to restore it now. We would also buy and restore the facility in a heartbeat if we had the funds to do so. We're hoping someone or some group with that kind of money will take on the project before it is beyond repair. That's why we posted this video.

  • such a lovely building, it will catch anyone's attention. TRUST ME
