Read a bill and think about it before you vote on it...sounds crazy but it just might work. Sen Voinovich don't you think we should audit the federal reserve? get off the fence and work for the people
Yes, health care is a right. My 2 major surgeries in 1986 cost $35,000 and now, perhaps would triple. Sen. Boxer just stated on the news that our mortality rate is ranked about 35 in comparison to other industrialized countries. We all need to speak our minds and tell our stories vs the lies of the Right!
Health care is not a right. Our rights are clearly enumerated in the Constitution of the united States, and our bill of rights. The Federal government and Congress are not authorized to manage health care, bail out miss-managed businesses, or a large number of other usurpation of power not lawfully granted them by the highest laws of our nation ... The Constitution.
The problem, is not that we need to guarantee health insurance for all, the problem is that health care is unaffordable for many millions of legal citizens.
This is due to the stranglehold of corporate and government bureaucracy, the unending march to socialism by those sworn to uphold our Constitution, and a nation of citizenry and consumers, obsessed with lawsuits, who contribute very little to what they need to sustain themselves in life.
We have no jobs. We therefore are not prosperous, and the solution being put forth is to take from those who have something and give it to those who have little or nothing. Charity should never be imposed.
A better solution to the many ills of this country is a good long dose of protectionism.
We need to start making things again. We buy foreign made products because there are no American made choices.
The government needs to step out of the way and allow the true free market to heal itself. Let the bad businesses fail and the healthy ones continue to strive for their fair share of the marketplace.
We need to end fiat currency based on perpetual debt, and return to sound money backed by true wealth.
I want to know how those of us who do work but only make $265.00 a week are supposed to make it? There are no jobs in Southern Ohio. I am disabled still trying to get either BWC or SSDI my hubby work and makes the above amount after we pay for taxes and insurance. Can't get Food stamps or medical help to pay for what insurance doesn't my insurane doesnn't cove 88. of my monthly medication so some please tell me what to do to survive?

Will Congress (you) and the President be covered under this mess of health "reform" legislation that you are trying to force on us poor peon voters?

Do we need health care reform? Absolutely! I urge you to support Ron Paul's ideas put forth in his Comprehensive Health Care Reform Act. (H.R. 3343)
That at least is a step in the right direction.
Obey the Constitution.

Vote NO on Health Care. It is not the Federal Government's responsibility to provide Heath Care. I am not your child and I do not need your help!
