dev anand starred opposite meena kumari. the lyricist appears to be one "nyaya sharma". never heard of him, but he is talented. the producer seems to have the same name. hmmmmm...
This movie has excellent songs by Rafi, Lata, Talat, Manna, Mukesh and Usha Mangeshkar among others. Superb soundtrack. But never released by EMI India on an LP or EP. Lata's second solo "Sulag uthi dilki lagi, jalte hain parwaane" is equally hauntingly sad ghazal.
Excellent wording, music and lovely Mina ji .......

It is "Har AAS ashkbar hai."
AAS means hope/desire . Each hope/desire is filled with tears too. Please listen carefully again. Nyaya Sharma was very famous in his time.

and the title of the film was kinare kinare. not kinara kinara.

has to be aankh. ashk means aansoo. so, every eye is tear filled.
quite apart from the metre going awry with |aanssoo|!!

har AANSOO ashkbar hai
gorgeous song--thank you for posting it.

though har aansoo ashkbar hai makes no sense, does it. ashk=tears. but that is clearly what she is singing.
vinaypande 3 years ago
ok sounds like
har aa(n)s ashkbaar hai
the n sound is wrong of course but she is rhyming it with "saans"

har AANKH ashkbaar hai...
