WTF lol Before nightwish she was already quite well know as an opera singer then nightwish asked her to do a song or two and they ended up becoming one of the best gothic metal bands ever, and then tarja was kicked for wanting a life without all the parties and stuff and they took it completly wrong and booted her, And tbh i think it was her that made nightwish famous not the other way round,i mean if they started with anette they wouldnt of had more than one album in my opinion :D love tarja <3

singing on top of different genres is not making someone a versatile vocalist. Basicly, when you both sing the same "way" on different background music, you're actually not doing anything different.

What makes someone a versatile singer, is the ability of that singer to sing different "ways", like for example singing in falsetto, classical singing (like targa), ordinary singing, have a wide vocal range, being able to produce different kind of tones/pitches etc etc..

Well I know for my experience that it's pretty fucking hard for a Finn to learn a credible accent if you're not a native speaker... I have studied English since I was 9 (I'm 18 at the moment) and my accent sounds like shit. I think Tarja is actually the most complete singer. Forgive me the Beyoncè fans, but Tarja is not only some voice, she is the voice and she is also a musician. The vocal works are perfect for all the songs and the music fields that she does. I mean, if it is rock, metal, romantic or classical, she is great.
