  • this is alright, could use some breakdowns though

  • @TheSolarCompromise not really, this is a whole different time of genre of music

  • this is real music that asking alexandria or dubstep crap every one is pumping out nowadays

  • Fucking Rules of Attraction man...

  • this video...

  • is that FLORENCE WELCH?!?

  • "i wanna see the look in her eyes when her body parts ways with life"- i get chills from this line. so brutal of a lyric.

  • My dream show would be Fear Before, Blood Brothers, Number 12, and La Dispute.

    but thats just me.

  • @hungrykillerspoon I agree with this, +Fall of troy

  • Gives me chills every time.

  • Cassandra is a character from mythology gifted with foresight yet cursed by the fact that nobody ever believes her predictions.

  • The title itself refers to Cassandra from Dr. Who. I don't know about the lyrics themselves though, maybe they do have to do with some psychology bullshit.

  • @vitus1487 Wrong. crazybeff is right.

  • @TomPharo So you're telling me it is a coincidence that there is an episode of Doctor Who set at THE END OF THE WORLD where the antagonist is named CASSANDRA. Well that's good you can make blanket statements based on zero evidence.

  • @vitus1487 Actually, yes, it is just a coincidence. As crazybeff stated "Cassandra is a character from mythology..."-this is correct and predates this song and Dr. Who. FBTMOF also have a song called "Jabberwocky", another reference to mythological stories. Did they get that from Dr. Who as well? I have interviewed them several times and can provide a link to a video interview I filmed. Spoiler alert: we didn't talk about DR. Who. If I was me, and I am, I would take my word over yours, any day.

  • @TomPharo You know what? I'm sorry. I brought this on myself. Having a discussion on a youtube comments page is the lowest form of communication, I should've known better. In fact you've inspired me to go for a long walk, meet friends for a drink, or maybe reread the Iliad (one of the books you seem to know so much about). Thanks for the encouragement to go do something worthwhile.

  • My name is cassandra haa

  • @joshBeliveau3 yes it is.

  • damn this sounds like orbs.. same singer?

  • The Cassandra metaphor is applied by some psychologists to individuals who experience physical and emotional suffering as a result of distressing personal perceptions, and who are disbelieved when they attempt to share the cause of their suffering with others.

  • this is pretty fucking rocking. this album is pretty good compared to their other stuff

  • definitely takes me back to early high school. is this what they're gonna play on oldies stations in 30 years?

  • brings back memories:)

    FBTMOF is the fucking SHIET!

  • brings back memories:))

  • man this brings me back

  • NO ONE LISTENS TO THE DAMNED

  • damn its been years since i've listen to this band

  • i saw the whole thing, get in the paddy wagon. all hoped up on doobies running around bare ass sucking buttermilk screaming "thunder, thunder, thundercats ho!" telling me that strawberry tastes so good like sunshine on sunday. nothing tastes sweeter than your moms pussy and no drink is as refreshing as her breast milk. i'll tell you something joy boy. you best unfuck yourself or life will unscrew your head and shit down your neck, then gouge out your eyeballs and skull-fuck you.

  • @mahavishnuxc ...You...What? I missed it.

  • They scurry like roaches stomped out by fire

    my favorite line

  • How does this song have so many hate comments? This song is fucking incredible. It's currently on repeat on itunes for me. I love it. xD

  • @kbryant1994 cuz its not "like" the other bands, these guys are doing their own thing, and i guess in the music world thats not acceptable. ha

this band has got to be one of the best bands ive ever listened to.

  • This is one of my favorite albums to get high to.

  • No one listens to the damned...

  • No one listens to the dead...

  • <3<3<3<3

  • Damn i havent heard this band in 2 years theyre so awesome

  • This band is so fucking incredible. I stopped listening to them for like two years and found them on an old mp3 player and I've been re-hooked ever since. The lyrics, the guitar work, the drumming and the oh-so-subtle things they do phonetically are truly amazing. If you write this band off because they sound too much like a genre you think you know enough about to hate, you're an ignoramus who is missing out on a life-changing music experience.

  • whats with the ginger

  • Comment removed

  • I have one statement for the people that dont't like this band and this song

"No one listens to the damned"

  • @ShiningGlory

i do like this band but that was a lame comment ha

  • @amg939 lmao ikr? i was reading that and whent like wtf???

  • saw them on top of an apartment complex two years ago in kansas city, everyone was naked, butt ass naked. The band and the croud all together, made this night my best yet. i love you fear before. i fucking LOVE you

  • I am not really a fan of harder styles of music but Fear Before The March Of Flames.. (in their whole discography) have really had an impact on my life, my creativity and was one of the bands which opened up my mind to waves of other music, for that! I thank them. Truely a unappreciated goldmine of a band.

  • They changed because they wanted to. Bands evolve. And Its not like they went mainstream. They are playing the music they want to play, like any real band should. And if you guys can't appreciate it because its not metal then that sucks for you. This album was incredible, one of my favorite albums ever.

  • THIS GUY SANG WITH BTBAM DIDNT HE! ive been looking for the guest singer in prequal to the sequal for like the longest time!

  • @Metal4life0102 I believe he did

  • I like it, is amazing, but the singer's voice is horrible.

  • @The77kill haha no his voice is orgasmic.

  • @The77kill Not at all. <_<

  • I love the way the singer moves in this vid costume and all

  • Love it! :D

  • wow they really suck from their first two albums...

  • this is boring as shit

  • @StratRat9

you comment is boring as shit

  • I heart Fear B4.

  • This reminds me of WilsonWILSON by Promise to a Friend

I posted it on my channel for y'all to compare.

  • if u dont like this band....

    fuck off

    its that simple.

your shitty band is only a click away so go listen to that

FEARBEFORETHEMARCHOFFLAMES is amazing and always will be

  • @hellahellahighhigh

that's exactly true. It does not fit the 'mainstream consistancy'. What's that word that people use to describe joining into what EVERYONE ELSE likes? Well, it doesn't matter what everyone else likes. People like us, (who like FBTMOF) know what we like, and will stand out as unconventional. This country is based of unconventional, yet is turning back to mainstream. Keep unconventional to keep this stuff coming into our ears.

  • @hellahellahighhigh FUCKING THANK YOU! God bless your soul wise one.

  • @hellahellahighhigh

    True hardcore.

  • @hellahellahighhigh

i own all their cd's but when you say stupid shit like that it gives them a bad name. grow up...

  • @enjoistaticx shut the fuck up you bitch. hows that for growing uppppp?

  • @hellahellahighhigh yea this is the first time i have heard any of this music but it sounds good

  • This song is an unbelievable work of genius.

  • This video looks like giving a warning about the dreaded girl in the red dress.

  • I love this song, and "mouth" but honestly any song off this album is good.

  • Comment removed

  • @FoxGuy777 should have stayed in the shallows is awesome

also the lisbon girls, oh the lisbon girls.

  • @FoxGuy777

I think all their songs are good :) Some i would list would be Complete and utter confusion, As a result of signals being crossed, My (Fucking) Deer hunter, Drowning the old hag. Like i said there are many more songs they made that are amazing

  • @FoxGuy777 Well the rest of the album is a perfect work of art. I give it an 11 out of 10. So you should download the album because every song rules. The new self titled is also very impressive and brings a lot of energy. I love the old stuff, but it's pretty hard so it might take a while to grow on you. Honestly, any song this band puts out is fucking genius

  • good music but the singer looks totally gay with his hair like tht

  • Don't believe this girl

    She preaches mayhem

She's the devils bitch and a liar

I want to see the look in her eyes

When her body parts ways with life

    amazing

  • yeah the girl they are talking about is mystery babylon. The Great Harlot

  • @Btbam1989

    I didn't know that.

    Thanks for letting me know!

  • yeah man if you ever seen the matrix , the girl on red is there too. There's also a very famous freemason that said that was their biggest weapon. A few other artist have made songs about the lady in red. This song is almost like a warning reading the lyrics.

  • @Pinchfuzz hands down one of my fav lyrics ever

  • @Pinchfuzz i couldnt agree with you more

  • yo awesome video, matches pretty well...

shouldah had the girl mothing or singing the beginning before it gets heavy, then perfect shot when it does....

  • they are very unique and weird i like it: : )

  • Reminds me of the Great Depression, Industrial Revolution. pretty awesome video :)

  • y arent there more music vids. i cant even find one thats just the lyrics

  • I haven't quite cared for Coheed And Cambria as much as some of their other bands, but Equal Vision can do no wrong ever.

  • Equal Vision has some of the best new music!

Closure In Moscow, Coheed And Cambria, The Fall Of Troy, this band!

  • @HaroldFeldberg you were right til you said coheed and cambria. i've seen them live and they have no tallent

  • ahh I see, fuck you

  • Me too, and you're wrong.

  • Its different.... not really my thing though, weaker than I expected. But I had to check them out because the vocalist sounded awesome on a song called Prequel to the Sequel by Between the Buried and Me.

For some reason I thought they would be a metal band. In a way though I think they sounds a bit like BTBAM's softer stuff, which is a good thing. I just think it needs something heavy thrown in there somewhere.

  • Listen to something from the album Art Damage if you want a 'heavier' FBTMOF.

  • Listen to Art Damage, Yousuck00

  • Comment removed

  • Did he guest vocals on that song?

If so i'm wrong obviously :) just hard to hear his voice in that song

  • @Pinchfuzz

the main vocs are much lower becuase he usually screams and one of the geetaws does the higher singing

  • ive been working with adam slangin booze for over a year not hearing the band he was in until recently and theyre music is the shit!! three oh three

  • Ha, the girl that babysits for me left this in my xbox, so I had to look it up. really liking this. Feel like maybe I had this cd once like 3 years ago and lost it. Oh well, no matter, these guys are pretty sweet.

  • don't believe this girl: she preaches mayhem.

    she's the devil's bitch and a liar.

  • Damn !1 this is one of the best bands in mi computer hahaha, y think they're terrific like FBTMOF or just Fear Before

    Seeya !!

  • they've always been a great band.

  • Wish they would bring back "the March of Flames" in their name.

  • whats there name now? fear befor? lol

  • Yeah, it's Fear Before now. Like I said, they shouldn't have changed it. Their name was kick ass.

  • i started listening to this band when i was 9 lol im 14 now. my cousin showed me the song fashion tips baby and i just rememberd so i searched it. now im listening to there new stuff and its nothing like there first album

  • that was the first song i heard by them too!! haha yea they're not hardcore like they used to be, but in my opinion, they're new stuff is better...more mature.

  • @fpsvincent142 Very true, but you just gotta understand that they've grown so much as a band and as people. Just give this album a chance, i'm sure you'll like it.

  • @samx919 yea i like this song a lot

  • This is sickkk. xD

  • the singer from this band is the dude who did the epic vocals on the between the buried and me song prequal to the sequel or is wikipedia lying again?

  • thats why i'm here too

  • Not the lead singer but the guitarist did vocals in that song, or was it ABR, no wait yea the guitarist did guest vox for BTBAM, and Tommy From BTBAM, did Vox for ABR... anyways the guitarist does lead vox ina band with the bassist from BTBAM called 'Orbs' , Dustie from BTBAM did a guitar solo for 'For Today' also thats pretty awesome, dont know how that relates to your question lol

  • ah i knew about orbs

didnt know they were all that tight with eachother =P

  • no its the guitar player

  • no its adam the guitar player, read the cd

  • nope, for once its factual information.

  • It's the guy on the video Spencer Chamberlain??

He didn't quit the band to leave to UO?

  • ?? what i dont think spencer was ever in fear before

  • Yes, at least that's what all UO bios said, when Dallas leave the band, Spencer Chamberlain from Fear Before the March Of Flames replace Dallas as UO vocals.

That was when the band was formerly known as Fear Before The March Of Flames, no Fear Before as they are called now.

That's why I asked if the dude on the vocals of this video is Spencer which I think he is as in the newest videos from this band I have saw another vocal that's not the skinny guy on this vid.

  • No Spencer was never in Fear Before the March of Flames. He started out in This Runs Through then moved on to Underoath after Dallas left

  • Ohh, yeah lol. Got confused. Wait, but there's a band out there pretty well known, that if I am not wrong, they have an ex member from Fear Before. Does anyone know which is that band?

  • noo. spencer came from a band named this runs through. he was wit his brother in that band. go listen to them. u can easily tell its him

  • idk why but i like his moves in this video ha..awkward

  • @deadmemories831 Lol. I don't know why. But I do too.

  • He just somehow reminds me of Bod Geldof, that time when he played a fuckin' role on a that Pink FLoyd opera. Is he gay? Or he just looks weird?

  • favorite band, stay weird.

  • Mathcore is just a simple term for hardcore or anything similar using odd timing in the music.

    Just wait for discocore...it's coming.

  • Metalcore...at least you meant Mathcore, If so then...weird.

  • discocore has been here lol

  • This band played before Circa Survive, some November ago, and the singer jumped off stage and sang to me for like 2 minutes. It was extremely awkward lol. I think he was pretty messed up on something though.

  • How do you know know what mathcore is?

  • Next there's gonna be Chesscore and Bassfishingcore. Sub genres are fucking stupid.

  • It's one thing to have an opinion, but you made yourself look pretty stupid right now.

  • don't hate on bassfishingcore..also, genre nazis

  • Haha, that's stupid as hell.

"Mathcore" what the fuck is that?

Why can't you just call it what it is? Music maybe?

  • mathcore is a genre you retard...

  • Whenever I listen to this band, i always feel like when they record, they don't make the vocals loud enough. Great band though.

  • Dude, where can i buy tickets for their Australian shows?

  • I just got home from seeing them, so goddamn amazing. They were wearing dresses :) Everybody in the crowd was weirded out but me

  • lol at the exchange?

  • haha yea seemed like everyone was like WTF...but I was like wow these guys are weird which is awsome! haha

  • i cant beleve theyre cuming to australia but not perth

  • fuck yeah

  • "Godamn no-one will believe me!!!" ahhhh love that bit, hope I get to see them when they come to brissie in october!!

  • i hvnt noticed .... yeahhh great part xD

  • shitt...this is mathcore!!!!!!!! great!

  • there song is simply as hell...you have no idea what mathcore is. lol

  • lol mathcore isnt really just about technicality, its got alot to do with changes in time signatures, this song is mostly 4/4 although in the verses at the start theres either one bar of 6/4 or a bar of 4/4 and a bar of 2/4.

  • thats incredibly simple. 4+2 is nothing to be proud about in math. maybe some of their other songs have more mathcore elements but definitely not this song.

  • Wait, how does Tourettes guy have anything to do with FBtMoF?

  • tourettes guy made a ad for them i think it was art damage lol it was pretty funny

  • LOL.

His son scared him one day because he turned up Lycanthropy by This Band. xD

It sounded pretty good so I looked it up.

    Durrr

  • Love this band!!!!

  • LOL. I actually found out about this band from watching Tourettes Guy. :D

  • haha ive liked this band for awhile and found tourettes guys from them

  • solid fucking band :]

  • wow ...

just .... wow...where the hell have i been ... these guys are amazing

  • Honestly, sometimes you have to try pretty hard to find good bands anymore rofl. the only reason i found this was because i was bored as fuck one day looking at bands t shirts and i see Fear before, and i find this wonderful band xD

  • great another micheal jackson

  • lol realy thats acually funny that great i woulda don did it to

  • I dont think it was so much you stating it lol, so much as it's fucked up :]

  • you are crap

  • Come back to 210 guys /:

  • I love this song, and the lead singer is kinda hot! They are strange but in a good way that I like!!!!!!

  • Hahah noooo he's not.

Trust me, I saw him last night. And he's nothing like he is in the video!

But he's hot, in his own way

  • Oh okay, I have never seen them live

  • haha i think he's hot..

    especially in that dress!

  • im seein them tonight, hope they plays this song!
