surprises me that the users at IGN think this is crap..okay hold that tohught, they know nothing about good games. All they know is to shoot zombies. this concept took a long time to develop, and the developers were taking a real risk here by making a game that does not fit into the action genre that everyone plays today.
Ruby is highly depressed about her life. she wants to be an adult fast. she thinks being an adult is going anywhere, talking to strangers, smoking cigarettes, etc.
she may have been the typical good girl gone bad type.
and when she actually does such things, she gets in some guys car and they die in a car crash?
this is just my guess from the items she interacted with, the scene, and the stuff she said. >~<

She loved to play, but if you think about it playing around to much can lead to trouble. And Carmen, She loved music and Beer, but being careless leaves to consequences too..... Weird lol..... @TomyDayos I thought she wants to die because of depression ie: smoking kills her faster - she says "doubt ill live to old age" she puts herself in dangerous suitations - ie possible rape or peer pressure to sex and drugs (cigar)
I think RaidouFrost is the one talking in this vid but I could be wrong, sorry if I'm wrong and made a bad guess. Anyway...when I first listened to this I was like "Who's talking? Are they speaking German or English?! I can barely understand what's being said." Hahaha. Even after turning it up loud and listening a couple of more times I can only understand a little of what's being said. And LOL about the nsync thing as well
I really hope that people are being just idiots about the supposed rape stuff because I think it would be stupid and unnecessary to throw something like that in ...there's more than enough rape crap in various stories and stuff (too much in fact) and nobody in their right mind wants to see that in their games even in horror games things can be horrific and stuff enough without adding rape to it...I really hope that people are wrong and nothing in the game has anything to do with rape...sigh
@TheKara24601 Tale of Tales seems to be really big on art and interpretation. If you play the game and don't see anything rapey, there's no rape. (Also, their thing on the development says they'd prefer if interpretations went a little deeper than that.)
@xmadteaparty No, I mean that the developers explicitly said that everything in that game was purposeful. Is it a glitch? A way to save processing power? And I've never seen anyone run back to the path on their own.
I tend to see all the Wolves metaphorically. Ruby seems to have a fascination with decay, and this guy seems like a representation of that. He's one of the creepiest in the game.
This game isn't about rape. That's much too simplistic. You have to think symbolically.

1. lets drink with a random woodsman
2. lets ride a werewolf
3. lets smoke with john travolta
common they are asking for trouble
anyway.. it seems likely you can't find certain places with certain character as you only found the campsite with the woodsman once
