Yes it is important that the west keep things in perspective but there is clearly an anti islam sentiment build up going on. Compare the rights of christians, jews, hindus, buddists etc in muslim countries compared to what the muslims are able to demand in america and other non muslim countries. This attitude of the west will cause great problems in the not too distant future. Why, for example, should children be forced to eat halal meat at a school that has less than 15% muslims.

The reason why muslims do not want to adapt is b/c the koran teaches them to NOT to do so, and also b/c they are there to spread islam. @valeagathon U forget that actions of muhamad are written in the hadith, meaning they are already covering parts of traditions. Within centuries other traditions have crept in, and vary from region to region. To give u a lesson on, go to amazon and search for the following book, The Islamic Tradition: An Introduction

Or move to an islamic state? I remember that italian leftist who believed that Israel is exploiting arabs in palestine territories. What happened then? He went to Hamas and beheaded him. Sunna is composed of koran, hadith and traditions. inform yourself, before u criticise the western heritage. Or i suggest u move to an islamic state and take a look at the way people live there and assess if it is according to sunna or not.

@MrILoveYeshua the sunnah is,more or less,the oral law of islam,it is by itself oral,there's no such thing as written sunnah,the closest thing to it are the hadiths,wich are the various sayings and thoughts of muhammad.in few words,the sunnah isn't a book.
