I totally agree on what your saying. i mean, it makes sense when they exaggerate on some performances [example, the top 24 picks] but to not acknowledge the others, not even mentioning names. It must be frustrating.

I'm sure the reason they only show those who make the top 24 sing in early episodes is before it finally airs they already know who the 24 are and want the public to get to know the ones they'll actually be voting for. Might not be fair, but makes sense.
What I don't like is how they show "sob stories" for back story. I think that causes people to vote out of sympathy rather than purely on voice/talent/showmanship.

If you made it that far, then you deserved to have your time in the spotlight and have your journey shown on the show. Hey well, thats that I guess. I just wanna hear you sing now man. I didn't hear it on the show, and neither have most of the ppl that watched the show. Regardless, you made it far, and that is fantastic. You obviously have talent if you made it that far
Yo man. In the past few episodes you were shown making it further and further in the comp, and yet I never saw your initial audition. I thought maybe I had missed it. Now its clear that I didn't and that AI just didn't put your audition up and really didn't show that much of you. I agree with you in saying thats not fair. I was really curious to know what you sounded like, and way more curious when you were in the room with Robbie Rosen and such that made it through to the top 40.
