he is trying to change not only his genre but the whole style that he is accustomed to. i guess he is becoming a westernized afghan singer with lyrics that has more OH HA OOO to it that meaningful words to change a persons feeling. look at ahmad zahir even though he is not with us for 30 years he has got lyrics and the voice and his own (WAY) that u can listen to his voice over & over again without geting bored. i love farhad but he need to bring himself back 2 the surface not d new made farhad

this song is 18 years ago when i was in 3rd years of kabul university, every morning in kabul FM 6:30, when i hear this , it reminds me kabul, minibus, long-wait for local transport, every day late, not nice life even there was a bit peace

i do not agree with you on this one...

cause there are a lots of good poem from Rumi mawlana and even gahar aasi.. he could make a lots of songs ... but he knows that he is not going to make money from those ghazal typ of songs...

and he told the audience also that afghanistan needs more powerfull songs and not so slow songs ... i don`t know i like hem anyway but i relly hope that he comes back to the genere where he got once his birth...

The reason he can't like this now is because our beloved shaheed sha'er (QAHAR ASI) was the one who wrote lyrics for him and after he passed away he lost it and due to that he can't write good poems with good meaning that can sway the audiances like he used to. he has the voice the talent and epuipment but not once major important (PEOMS).
