  • I'd just thought of an idea like that the other day and wondered if it had been done before.

  • Just a few words to tell you that an interesting downloadable ebook on this model (technical and historic aspects) is available at HLebooks.com.

  • A very simple and effective design. I also see very little chance of a malfuntion causing the hammer to actuate during loading. Now I want one of these, lol. To bad I can not get one in an easier round to find.

  • Inside looks like a clockwork. Swiss know how to make good guns.

  • How is the timing on your cylinder? Does it lock up fully before the hammer and firing pin drop?

  • @Jrhoney No slop or end shake in this revolver. It's timing locks up the cylinder just before the hammer reaches the full cock notch. This revolver has a very tight action and the cylinder doesn't even wobble with the hammer at rest.

  • any clue about the price range

  • Great design and beautifully made inside,I like the seing open cover, must make cleaning a dodle!!

  • Lucky. Anything Swiss is a great find.

I have heard that it can also chamber the .32 S&W cartridge although I may be confusing it with the Model 1929 variant. Either way, any round is hard to find these days. :-(

  • The owner of a local shop I frequent called me when a customer sold it to him. He suspected I would be interested in an unusual piece like this. Unfortunately I don't have a large supply of 7.5 Swiss Ordnance. The trigger pull is heavy but very smooth and breaks crisply.

The brass-colored parts are strawed steel. The strawing process is similar to fire-blueing but is done at a lower temperature to produce the yellow color.

  • Thanks for showing this very unappreciated revolver. Where did you find one?

Also, is the hammer and internals made out of brass?
