I think you mean that I am rounding my back rather than arching it. I also think that you are referring to my lower back rather than my entire back. If both of those inferences are correct, why would keeping my lower back flat be better than rounding it? I am not using my lower back during bent over rows, so keeping it flat is a waste of energy and will most likely promote cheating. I suggest understanding the reasoning behind your beliefs before passing them on to someone else.

You should keep your back flat on the bent over rows, it will work out better. arching your back like that isn't good form
