@guitarpro48 it will be really hard but yea its possible.be4 you upgrade to windows 7, i suggest you find out more about how to do it first.what i suggest is you install both os on the same harddrive.then if you dont like windows 7 you can uninstall it or delete it.and if you dont know how to do that i can help you with that.

@manubarcafan yes..ur harddrive must have been corrupted and once that happns,ur option is to buy another one.its like 30$ for 250gb.and i am guessing u installed xp on an old pc.it happnd to me once.does it like load forever when it starts after it says windows?if so yes.u need a new harddrive.but if not then try reinstalling it.insert the cd then restart the pc.if the xp is installed without an error then ur harddrive is ok and it should work this time.

@romoro16 make sure u save all ur documents then yea go ahead and install it.if u used my cd and the product key,then its something u shouldnt worry about.and even if it doesnt work,u can always install again.and if ur pc can handle windows 7,i am able to give u 7ultimate.

@romoro16 this is not like microsoft office where a product key is limited by its use.some may work and some may not.and u should install xp after ur logged in and everything.i am guessing u intalled it after u restart and when it asks u to press anybutton to boot from cd..well this time,login,then insert the cd and you should install it after that then it will ask for product key.thats when u will know if the key works or not.

@romoro16 yes u will loose everything.and if u do it after ur loged in,u dont need to worry about the genuine thing bec if it comes u will need to reinstall with a diff product key.there are otherways to activate it but the safest one is with product key.and so far non of the keys failed me.well maybe once or twice but then i try the next one,it worked.i also found out it depends on ur computer too wether the key works or not.but try and we will see.if non works,we will find another way.

@Hollow33N well the burning and cd is another situation.the main thing is how ur going to install xp on windows 7.u need to figure out that first.if u can,then u can extract the file and just click on the setup and u can install it from there.the main problem is if its on windows 7,idk how it will let u install xp without the cd bec the install button wont be there.
