Blade: pretty cool despite all the slow parts

I don't know about that, but what I have heard is that the vampires sparkle which still feels rather stupid.

It's rather scary how a movie with such a low budget became a multi hundred million seller at the box office. The fans are insanse to boot, in real life they nearly killed Patterson the main male lead of the whole thing.

I've always loved this opening. Where else can you see a roundhouse to Traci Lords, a heel kick to some guy's gut, and then pinning some other guy's head into the ceiling with a stake?

Another thing that I thought was cool was the design of the rave and the way all the lights are used to enhance the action. The whole thing is just so well done.

1st: Blade II, 2nd: Blade (one of the best opening to a film ever) and 3rd by a long distance Blade: Trinity. How could that film have gotten it so wrong when the other two were perfect? The product placement was annoying as was the humor by "Ryan Renolds" I was hoping he'd kick it in the film. Only seen it once and never will again. Hopefully there will be a Blade 4, like a reboot in the form of Batman Begins with Del Toro and Snipes returning.

Yeah, Del Toro should have directed all three Blade films then it might have made the money of the Spider-man flicks! The villians in Blade II still looked the best as in the whole series whereas the regular vamps looked too much like normal humans. The only difference was the fangs.
