If you do keep tehe small screen you should not have the writing around but your logo would look pretty cool.

Plus are all BA Aircraft Called SpeedBird?

Speedbird is the radio call sign for BA and is the name of the red and blue ribbon logo on the front of the plane.

Shuttle is also used for some Domestic flights but the term Speedbird dates back to Imperial Airlines which became BOAC and eventually British Airways.

Probably get feedback all over the page, but personally, rather see a water mark over a larger screen. Watermarks look more professional to me.
