great memories - just wish I'd crossed the Mersey that day to see the gig :) Watched it over and over after recording it on TV! "This should be called Angle Park but we'll call it Sefton Park" - those words seem to be stuck in my head forever :)
aah memories! they can't take them away! even if they would, they couldn't. who are they? don't know may be all the empty headed discoqueens and kings. whatever...
I was in the Philippines when I first heard Big Country. I loved them so much I had to have a t-shirt with their name on it. I couldn't find one, so I went to a local t-shirt artist and had them make me a Big Country t-shirt. They did a fantastic job of it, and I wore it until it fell apart. Wish I still had it, though it probably wouldn't fit now. That was back in 1983.
Got 2 dvds of some very early live concerts, tv shows etc by BC.
