  • I've always suspected Hatsumi is full of shit. Good video.

  • p.s why do you pronounce it "ninjutsu" nt "ninjitsu" ??

  • hey antony where did the interest start ???? great book btw!

  • the modern ninja still exists and was being used as late as the mid 90's. See the Project Camelot vid with Bill Wood you'll see all the areas of study mentioned were/are being taught.

  • this anthony guy is really one of those with problems, he is not even japanese im actually loss for words that this kind of guy exists, i would love to see some of his talking put to reality.

  • real ninja master splinter real ninja enemy not samurai but shredder to become real hero in a half shell one must eat PIZZA and disguise himself by only covering eyes with socks of zorro not mask and hat. your shell is your protection.....

  • Should i buy the shoninki and true path of the ninja to understand how the mechanics of Ninjutsu works and how to apply them? i was thinking of going with Anshu jacobson's home study program.

  • @Ryutobi They are both the same book. First go for the free Pdf's, then get True Ninja Traditions, it is easier, then get True Path of teh Ninja.

  • you r just a dush bag cummings a dushbag thats all

  • you stop reavealing sacred secrets to people that may cause harm you dush bag anthony idiot

  • Hey Cummins! If you really are a Ninjutsu expert, why don't you demonstrate those skills instead of running your mouth? your "real ninjutsu" series was, shall we say, less than convincing.

  • hellfire, will someone please send james loriega back to the hobbit-hole he crawled out from?

  • FIRE STYLE!!!!! FIRE BALL JUTSU!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why in some parts of the vid, Cummins is frequently cut off as he is talking? Is that your doing?

  • @Primape92 (I am cummins) no, when i filmed it i did not put enough gaps in, so when we sent teh footage to the show they had to cut me off! My fault.

  • @HistoricalNinjutsu Oh snap your the heretic...What about the psychic stuff and the demonology used by ninja??

  • This is Bujinkan/Ninjutsu is a matierial arts with 1000 years of tradition from Japan with 9 different schools that the Samurai & Ninja have training 6 of them have the Samurai training and 3 of them have the Ninja training. The Samurai and Ninja warriors was (Zen)buddhism like me. I beleave on this becouse i want prove my master. "Hatsumi Maasaki" soke of Bujinkan.

  • I don't know about lineages. Having trained with Hatsumi, Aikido teachers, Win Chung, and Martial Tai Ji people, I can say that Hatsumi' s skill is astonishing. So does it matter...?

  • Didn't one of Steven Hayes' students get the shit kick out of him in UFC 1? The ninja-lay-on-your-back-and-bruise-ur-opponents-fist-with-ur-face technique was an EPIC FAILURE!

  • @cfrancisco74 That guy had trained with Mr. Hayes, but isn't a student.

  • @cfrancisco74 Wasn't Stephen Hayes' student. Was a student of Robert Bussey. This was from UFC 2. What you didn't see what that he beat his first opponent that night in 20 seconds because that fight wasn't televised. His name was Scott Morris. That was one of the more memorable fights I remember seeing from the early UFC days.

  • Why doesn't Ninja Loriega Sama just ninja-stealth-home-invade his detracters to prove his ninjutsu powers? onaguishimas.

  • hmmm...what about Tenshin Sho Jigen ryu of Jigen ryu? The Masurao of the 8th Century text, the Kojiki & Nihon Shoki?

  • @MrOphachew none are ninja, unless you have a copy of the text and it says so? I take it thats what you mean? Also, lots of early "proff" deals with assassination through opertunity, not ninjutsu.

  • @HistoricalNinjutsu --I was just wondering if there might be some roots in there somewhere?

  • but were does modern Ninjutsu unarmed and armed fighting tecniques comes from? they seem kinda unique confronted to more traditional rigid martial arts???

  • @Kenshiroit they started in the 1950's with a man called Takamatsu, who took them from certain places and made up a ninja martial art

  • @HistoricalNinjutsu Hi, I have been in Bujinkan long ago and I liked it, but thats not the point, im open minded and I am inclined to agree with your statements about ninjutsu. Watching your vids a question came to my mind... who was then Takamatsu, the one supposed to teach Hatsumi sensei? who apparently as I was told was a "hidden" ninja? What do you know about this? thank you. Very interesting the research you do.

  • @ablancok If he really was a ninja he wouldent be a very good one if he anounced it to the whole world now would he. Kind of goes against the fundimentals of ninjutsu

  • @raysetiger285 I said he was apparently a "hidden" ninja because I think I was told people (like his neighbours) knew about this after his death but I might be probably wrong and it might just be a "urban legend". "Fujita Seiko: The last koga ninja" book answered my question. Anyway, things have changed a lot since the Meiji restoration, and the epoc we live in now has nothing to do with the sengoku period or later. A ninja has to adapt to times, that secrecy has no use nowadays.

  • @raysetiger285 I think most if us are too stuck on movies, for whatever reason, and are not being realistic about what being a ninja nowadays should be. Another different thing is the study and research about historical ninjutsu, that is of course quite interesting, but I think it shouldnt be mixed with nowadays situation and needs

  • i ask humbly, both of these guys to square off with Dr.Hatsumi.. lets see who has, and can retain more knowledge, and demonstrate it in a combat situation...

  • Thank you for the post

  • @HistoricalNinjutsu BTW.. You don't have to be payed to kill someone if your an assassin. You have to be sent on a mission just like ninjas.

  • @boazandjiacinth I fully agree with you! Let them demonstrate what they can do themselves, besides naming Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi a phoney. As we all know talk is cheap!

  • Stop paying dojo dues and enroll in NLP? What sort of bullshit advice is that? Taijutsu training keeps you healthy and fit, Bujinkan dues are cheap compared to some arts I've trained in and it's fun. Was it not said that even though Ninjutsu is not a martial art, they tended to study it? Cummins stuff is interesting, but he rates his notoriety far too highly.

  • Not, a very good Ninja if the man made a lot noise breaking into that person's house.

  • Thanks for saying these things about ninjutsu that need to be said. I hope I can get a copy of your book.

  • @thihsareb thanks mate, i think it is time it all was siad. ninjutsu is beinging strange.

  • Strange, my comment don't appear on top.

  • He says "The government"

  • @BuffonSarutobi i think he meant the museum?

  • @HistoricalNinjutsu

Does government mean museum in English?

    I didn't know that.

  • @BuffonSarutobi no it does not, but when i first started reseach we thought that the museum was government run, it is not, most museums in the west are government funded and run by officials. This is where his mistake is.

  • Ironically the Kitchen intruder was the only realistic ninja.(Shinobi meant thieving)

Loriega said Kawakami was acknowledged as ninja by the Japanese government is not true. The Japanese government doesn't have such an authorization.

Where the heck the story came from?

  • @BuffonSarutobi he means the museum i think?

  • Excellent video!

  • I cant sem to find a copy of true path of the ninja, When is it being released (uk)

  • @Ukami101 It will be out in March. Its on Preorder now on amazon. cheaper at the moment.

  • @HistoricalNinjutsu great ill order one now.
