  • its adrian monsoon (jennifer's husband and julie driscoll singing this. its awesome

  • Well the one from the show is Ade Edmondson (Jennifer's husband) and Debbie Harry of Blondie, if my memory serves me well (see what I did there? lol) :P

  • Thought that Marrianne Faithfull and Marcela Detroit sang the song on the show.????? When Eddie goes skiing, she meets God and it's Marrianne Faithfull???? Also they show Marcela playing guitar. Marcela Detroit(Shakespears Sister)??????

  • Maybe not that exact version but her voice sounds v similar?

  • This sounds like it could be it? Maybe with the pitch changed slightly? What do you think? I'm on a mission to find that exact version lol

  • @justaguyfriend Who sings this ? I'd like to download this.

  • @stoker8871 - I wish I knew.

  • @stoker8871 think it is Julie Driscoll

  • @stoker8871 Julie Driscoll and Adrian Edmondson.

  • I don't think anyone has the copy of the actual one used on Ab Fab :(

  • @smudgers42 - Ah, well.

  • This isn't the same version used in ab fab

  • @scalbard - yeah, I figured it wasn't. Does anyone have that version up?

  • @scalbard IIRC from reading the credits, I think the one used on the series was performed by Adrian Edmondson and Rik Mayall, probably specifically for the series. If so, getting hold of it will be... tricky.

  • @scalbard what are you talking about, have you even watched ab-fab, i quess not judging by your comment. this is the song used in the credits of ab fab and Eddie and patsy sing it . get it right. it is also the best version of the song

  • drums are too hard :-(

  • @fiutare1 - You're probably right.

  • This Wheel's on Fire (From Wikipedia): "In 1968, a version by Julie Driscoll with Brian Auger and The Trinity became a hit in the United Kingdom, peaking at #5 on the UK Singles Chart... Driscoll recorded the song again in the early 1990s with Adrian Edmondson as the theme to the BBC comedy series Absolutely Fabulous, whose main characters are throwbacks to that era."

  • marvelous, sweetie-darling, just marvelous... :)
