  • if you want a good banzaitron figure, i recommend "hunt for the decepticons" banzaitron. his robot mode truly lives up to his name, he's got kind of "samurai robot of death" look

  • @omotodraco i have the mold when they made the bludgeon and i really like that figure

  • Aren't Action Masters meant for "SUPER POSABILITY"?

  • @theprimo100 god no they were basically the gi joe of the transformers brand

  • he's got a lancer

    fan duckmode

  • Banzai tron's gun looks really similar to the weapons for decepticon clone pounce.

    except obviously smaller.

  • yea your right man, but that reminds me i need to buy them guys at some point

  • All of the world should know of the joy and the grandeur that is Banzai-Tron.

    -Ralph

  • damn straight sir and i hope this vid made people understand him if only a little

  • He is a great character. I think I saw this one at the flea market. I might have to pick him up. I'm sure he's dirt cheap.

  • the review was awesome, what programs do you use?

  • for the first bit i used 3dsmax then i used adobe after effect for the other part

  • nice

  • Nice review as always. He is my favorite as well.

  • Gangsta-Tron the Hippest Bot of this Side of Cybertron.

  • you know it man hes one bad mo fo

  • 6:33 is my favourite bit.

  • Very nice video. I only have one Action Master from way back when. The red and blue Autobot with the little dog/wolf thing. I rather like it. The legs can move out to the side, but sometimes that pops them off.

  • im gonna take a guess and say that it might be called Rad with Lionizer, but thats only a guess. Yea the action masters leg really do love to pop of some of them like prime, he was a nightmare as a kid.

  • Great review once again my friend! Very nicely done! I was just thinking that his "helmet" sculpt is quite similar to Bludgeons.

Any chance of Krok getting a review please? As I recall he was one of the first AM's to appear in the Marvel comic and he was Bludegeon's second-in-command of the Decepticons in the aftermath of Unicron's first attack on Cybertron. It would be interesting to hear more about him...or have I pretty much just covered the character bio there? LOL

  • well i do have his toy bio there just one problem................its all in french and german lol. But i can say that i will do a Krok in the future as well since him and Banzai-tron look nice together. Never reading the marvel comics i thank you for the big of info on him man

  • Your welcome for the info, pal. I've not read those Marvel comics since...OMG...1992 I think. So I've surprised myself by remembering that tbh.

French and German instructions, huh? I wouldn't have thought that would have been too much of an issue. If you can learn the words and learn to lip sync to Nickelback's Rockstar...learning a different language should be a doddle by comparison...right? ;) If it is a prob then read the bio in French and German. You'll reach out to a whole new crowd. LOL :)

  • Another magnificent reveiw.

  • you are too kind sir but thank you

  • Awesome video.

  • cheers glad you enjoyed it

  • BAAAANNNNNNZZIIIIIIIIII

Still a bloody Action Master though!!

  • yea but i think hes awsome lol

  • Damn, I thought the box had gotten there. ;_;

I so need to put AM Banzaitron on my shortlist of G1 toys to look for.

  • ha! if only your crazy post service is so slow and you have to get the Banzai since you sold me into buyin him too

  • Did you manage to get the BotCon version as well, Andy?

  • indeed im waitin for it to arrive, vangelus sent it to me so i hope i get it soon lol

  • I enjoy looking down on Andy

  • i really dont know how to feel about that lol

  • it gets "fuzzy" because it seems to be interlaced, i dont know your previous workflow but you should allways deinterlace an interlaced source.

  • you can just do that at the encoding stage in after effects right?

  • i am not familiar with that program but the encoders i know let you select whether to use interlaced or progressive encoding, and that wont help unless you provide a deinterlaced video and select progressive encoding.

so i would look in filters for a filter called deinterlace, apply that filter and then select progressive encoding.

unless that program works in a completely different way, in that case nothing i wrote helps ;)

  • ah right cheers man, im really just happy it fills the box and is 16:9 lol, next time it should be fixed i hope

  • ongrats with the proper 16x9 aspect without any black borders this time! The interlacing of your source is a causing the "shearing" problem with horizontal movement... I concur with the progessive encoding option as a remedy.

    xD

  • his head looks more like a edo era samurai helmet

  • im not sure on the era's but i will take your word for it man, but he really needed a sword

  • Great review Andy!

Loving the new title screens, btw - very swanky! :D

  • lol cheers man took a while to do but im quite happy with it
