@TheTMGamers I think you should be able to run it on high with pretty good fps and resolution. I don't think you'll get good fps with it maxed out, but you can tweak it to get relatively good performance/quality.

i feel like no AA or A lot of AA in Crysis only makes a change on performance, cause the looks are the same!

@kdu3142 yeah, it's because of all the overlapping effects the game uses. AA becomes a much smaller factor in image quality when you have the effects turned up to the max. The depth of field and motion blur play a big role here and smooth things out considerably. I simply turned my AA off in order to get better fps.

With this, I can play the original Crysis (more demanding than Warhead) at 1920x1080, no AA, everything set to Very High, and get about 30-40 FPS without recording...When I upgraded my GPU, I though I would only be able to run it at Medium...It's so weird...

that depends on your resolution and what kind of OS. if you've got vista u probably score lower than windows 7 or XP.

I think u will be playing at 1440x900 high without AA. ur cpu is an e7500 isnt it? ive got about the same specs and i can play at high. (no aa)

i got a simillar problem to Crucker 2 i got a leadtek winfast gts 250 1gb( which is just ab it better then the palit so pretty much same gpu ) an e8400 @ 3ghz 4gb ram ddr3 1333mhz and the game lags as hell with aa-x8 1280x1024 and max details (even though im looking at the ground xD) and windows vista x32 bit so could u xeonhl2 pls tell me how makes that u can run the game that good? pls im desperate !! :((

I have an Intel Q8200 2.33GHz x 4, EVGA GTX 275 896MB, and 4 GB RAM. I can run Crysis at 25-30fps with 2X AA and all High Settings in 720p. Don't set your standards too high for running either Crysis games witha GTS 250.

The real time rendering is the cause of the lag as most gaming pc's can't handle its max settings(Which are photo realistic btw!).

Games like MW2 are pre-rendered giving you limited ability to modify or interact with the environment not to mention disabling any hope of any time-of-day lighting and shadows.

crysis warhead is a stand-alone expansion of Crysis. It takes place during the same timeline, but on the other side of the island. It has a better configurated graphical engine and has a more intense feel to it. There are also new weapons.

Whats this about configs not being 3D? Configs are just another way to say mantaining maxium framerates so the config cuts out all objects and entites that do not need to be rendered because you cannot see them. Thats mostly what helps your game. And why do people keep saying configs are 2D? Does it really look 2D to you? It still looks good...
