On of the best London American records ever released in my opiinion. Sadly not a hit in the U.K Why? Tthe follow up never saw the light of day here "Sound of the Sun". Managed to get a copy on EBay again brilliant record
Thankfully you can still find this rare hit on the Dr. Demento best-of albums. Can't recall the album title, but it shouldn't be too hard to locate. And for those lovers of ska out there, this song is amazingly enjoyable to skank to. Great post-thank you for the flashback!
cool song! thanks for the tip Ivy!

Great, now whenever I listen to this song I'm going to hear "the washing up"
I really like Forgive Me Darling, I've often wondered what other songs the Ran-Dells did besides Martian Hop.

Very clean copy of a song that was rather badly engineered! Thanks!

Superb. the Ran-Dells hailed form the Jersey Shore (the Wildwoods) and were discovered by the legendary Don Kirshner.

When I had the 45 of this, I'ld play it at 33 rpm to hear what their voices really sounded like. What a great song!
