All but one of the reasons were bullshit. All the lights could have been turned on or off when they wanted to before they left, entered the room, or woke up. I'm sure when you live in a house for a week, you learn where your shit is and you don't run into it. It's only good use would be for getting out of bed, but i'd use it more of a 'get the fuck up' light more than anything.
