A couple of problems with that comparison. John Lennon was actually a good person, and opposed plenty of corrupt aspects of society/the music industry Gaga clearly supports, and... he actually made great music. Not only was Lady Gaga a sellout from the beginning of her superstardom to the present day, she pretends as well as she can that she's "real". Watch any interview of hers and try to tell me she isn't one of the most pretentious and false people you've ever seen.
