Actually, I know not all Americans think like this about Muslims, but I've been through my fair share of injustice. At an airport, they take EXTRA care to get me and my family through the gates. I see other nationalities passing by, but we always get stopped. Personally, I don't blame most of them. It's just that, you would think they could identify that we're not all going to throw a bomb at you if you make us mad! Anyway, I hope we're viewed better in the future. I don't think we deserve this.

We like to call it something more sophisticated and think ourselves above the rest of the animal kingdom, but we are naturally hardwired for certain things. In this case, survival. Many people died and the rest were scared during and after 9/11, and the faces associated with it became instinctive red flags. We're unaware of it consciously, but seeing similar features provokes a natural survival response.

I went to a private school and some of the teachers had to ask me about what was the capital or where is this located.To this day,I can still draw a map of Australia with all 6 states.
