Hey man where did you get your Mac Mini? If you're gonna replace the RAM as soon as you get it you might aswell have bought it off the Apple website and done the custom specs thing. That is unless of course you're gonna use it for something else lol.
Thats a good question. If you have apple install 8 gbs of ram they add $500 to the prce tag. I purchased my ram for $250. So it saved me 250 bucks. Also I purchased the mac mini on sale and I used a gift card I had to that store. So I ended up saving $400.

You can buy two 4 gb sticks at amazon for thirty five bucks from crucial, and they work just as good if not better than the apple ones.
