I would do anything to go to this school. Unfortunately I didn't get accepted because of the amount of space :( , but that still didn't change my passion for art I just think that Duke is where I belong. My school is great, but I'm more interested in performing art schools *sighhh*

Its actually a very diverse program- I went there and had friends from ALL different races and creeds. It is the perfect HS experience! One of the better ones in DC. I now am a full-time performer in NYC after attending a 4 year college program on scholarship

I haven't live in the DC Metro area for years, but most white kids either go to private schools in DC or they live in the suburbs of DC. I'm sure that their are white kids in the school, but they would be a minority.

I went to school at Duke Ellington a couple years ago. Duke Ellington students are very amazing artists for such young ages. They're artists and they express themselves in as many ways as they can. Clothes just happen to be one of them. So back off, they're high schoolers.
