so i can do it with a standard cam when you say edit edit on the cam or on pc

@MrGoldrushman all pc edits, so you don't have to touch cam and accidentally move it which totally screws up the shot...even a tiny bit of cam movement will blow the whole effect.

@MrGoldrushman it's easy, just takes a bit of time. with a video camera you can do it in one take without touching the camera (and risk moving it) dig a little, get out of frame, dig a little more, get out, etc. then just cut out all the parts where your hand and digger are in frame. sound track beat helps to time the frames, you can use "pause" or "stop" video edit feature to stretch if you don't have time in between frames. take beat out later if your vid don't use it
