first you rnt suppost to hold them too long oer too much second there enclosure is too small third if they dont do much theres a problem and fourth u shouldnt mix species and fifth that water dish looks to deep
i have no idea what sive water dish it is to be honest. sorry, it was so long ago. and your actually not supposed to handel them just to get a better veiew i handled em
first off poisen dart frogs that are breed in captivity aren't toxic due to the lack of diet they attain in their natuaral habitat. Second that enclosure is WAY to small for that species, but if they seem happy more power to you mate
the enclouser isnt to small i talker to experts for the exact cage req and they even set up most of the tanks so thats not true. and i never said they were toxic at birth.... i know its what they eat in the wild that makes them poisonous....
@Cicuto Poison Dart Frog is just the common name for a group of frogs in the Dendrobatidae family. Just because the common name suggests that they're poisonous doesn't mean the individual specimen's in this video are. It is common sense to many that dart frogs in captivity do not in fact produce a toxin. I'm pretty sure that when people see he/she handling them in the video they come to that conclusion.
so col vivariums first how cost 3 frogs end vivarium or somthing like thet i vant to uy me a vivarium end put in poisonus dart frogs but i have no idea what i the cot can you tel me end tel me what is the song god job :)
i can touch them because what they eat in the rainforest is diffrent from what they eat in my vivarium and they get there poison from what they eat so sence we dont feed them those insects, the arnt poisonous
i dont use heat pads i use florecent lights there a little more expensive and dont look cheezy in a cage (everythings way higher) so yea looks better. =D
i made like 90% of it but i bought it with the stuff needed for the waterfall in it because i needed a special cage to put the waterfall. but we put together the water fall and we put all the other stuff in it for the back of it we used some instant foam stuff and put some other stuff on it.
hey man normally i dont handle them but they hide so much and i wanted u guys to be able to see em so i figured thats the only way besides putting em out on a sample aquarium and get em scared. but they get along fine nobody ever hurts anybody. thank you for commenting.
I dont know if I would be handling the frogs as much as you do. Also, I dont think I would keep that Bastimentos with those B?B Auratus. . . Great Large vivarium tho, and congrats on the breeding.
at first i thought u were one of those kids that just get a dartfrog without knowing how hardy they r but u r a really good frog keeper right now i have 4 dendrobates lecomelas/ bummblebee dart frogs

@albundyhun
when taken out of the wild they lose their poison due to change in diet. The frogs become poisonous from the bugs they eat.
