He wasn't, he's a troll character designed to be the type of father who'd like Chris LEAST. (A republican ex-marine) And who pushes ALL of his buttons (the word naive, calling him a retard etc.)

But Chris fell for it, and yeah... Chris big mouth actually almost got him a beating from a big black guy once, which he only narrowly avoided. So he totally WOULD threaten a marine.
