Interesting to see Diane Sawyer at CBS

Little did we know Katie Couric would be the first female to ever be sole anchor and managing editor of a network evening newscast. That breakthrough happened at CBS in 2006

three years later, Diane Sawyer would follow suit with ABC World News with Diane Sawyer. Sawyer joined ABC in 1989, but didn't become Couric's bully until 2009.

They should have done a CBS Sports Talent Promo for 1987. Pat Summerall, Jim Nantz, Verne Lundquist, Dick Stockton, Tim Ryan and Brent Musburger. But, if that promo also included Don Criqui (who was at NBC) and Jack Whitaker (at ABC), it would have been epic.
