For anyone lost right now, download Google Chrome, download the file, and drag it into the texture pack folder. This is about 100 times easier than using Internet Explorer to do it.

i had a hard time getting it to work.. first, it was there but it didnt do any difference. second, it became my default, third, it became a texture pack but still no difference, fourth i left the launcher open in the texture pack folder, and got the zip and put it in texture packs the texture pack popped up in my launcher and the pic changed so i tried it and totally worked! lol btw i love it

yea for some reason my minecraft does see the texture packs but once i select one i doesn't crash loudly whit an error it just get stuck for abbout 6 second then vanishes,and trying to reboot it it keep vanishing 6 seconds after the logo appears kinda annoying,i tried several different texture packs and all end the same :(

@BTBXgamepro another way is to install minecraft patcher. run the patcher and browse the .rar or .zip file which contains the texturepack and press patch. it works for me every time i change my texture

Uh my comp hates minecraft XD. Or your pack. I first downloaded a nice old RPG style pack. It came out as a winzip file. I went in, copyed the whole content of the pack, and pasted in minecraft. It works. But i cant seem to do that with yours...
