does his ideology take in consideration stupid people? It doesn't sound like it...he's thinking in the framework of science. Religion can be used by all very easily. Then again, I suppose you could "indoctrinate" people with moral reasoning just as easily so maybe he doesn't need to. It just sounds to be that only intelligent people are considered in his ideals

I thought Peter Singer in "Practical Ethics" had also suggested that there is a "right" and a "wrong" which was not just variable between different cultures etc.

This kind of moral realism is a great idea, but in order to make it happen I think we in America will first have to vote out the Sara Palin knownothing faction from our positions of influence and power centers.
