Is it a ball or journal bearing turbo? BB turbos can last without a BOV just fine.

a Ball Bearing or Journal bearing will not last with out a bov because this creates compressor surge, which forces the turbine to spin backwards, this will ultimatley result in the turbine shaft snapping and ruining your turbo

Negative, the turbo is what surges. Having a incorrectly adjusted bov is what causes it.

the svo/turbocoupe 2.3T is a great engine. about 200hp stock real easy to get to 300... plus the fact your still getting 20-30mpg? cant beat it.

You using the Lincoln 5 lug up front? It wont work without a spacer. I have '99&up front 5 lug conversion. You'll need '94-'98 or '99-'04 spindles out to make most wheels work.
