  • These guys really need to get some bayonets

  • Comment removed

  • I love this movie

  • Go Finland!

  • Suomi!

  • A brave man with a .44 special could have destroyed a Russian tank. The gas tanks were mounted on the front and not covered by any armor. The stupid fuckers tended to run out of gas and or crews...the latter because the Russian tank crews (along with most of the Red Army) were looking for any reason to defect. "For the Motherland...for Stalin...oh shit, somebody's shooting at us, let's run!"

  • @ubuntungbelele they wherent in the front

  • @tylercolby11

Front...back. Whatever. The gas tanks were exposed and unarmored. Soviet engineering at it's best.

  • @ubuntungbelele funny

  • God bless your "white ghosts" snipers...I envy you a little. You never gave up and in my point of view you showed russians where they can go with their "revolution". We had not that much luck...

  • Russians stoled the PPSH idea from Finnish

  • @wasabibubble Not, this your finns who have relied on ideas of russians are always, in reality the SuomiKP and PPSH-41originate from Fedorov Automat.

  • @wasabibubble the one`s the finns used where finnish, they look the same but its finnish!

  • 13 People are Russians

  • Finnish guys invented Molotov Coctail

  • Same thing as i do in Battlefield 1942..

  • the music is.... disappointing...

    battlefield 2, seriously?

  • Russians komunists are real lossers.

  • is it me or do the finns look just like the germans ?

  • @keanoman1000 Having only the helmet model which looks like German.

  • yea go russians kick their buts!!!! dont mess with the ussr!

  • @patrickwright15 No one messed with USSR then. The ones who got asses kicked were russians.

  • @patrickwright15 Haha fail cmt

  • the bravest of the brave, impossible odds, no equipment, no artillery, air support, only sisu.....

  • Please ne1 tell me y r they wearing cloths similar to Nazi 1s

  • @PorkChops148 they got equipment from all over the place, from various countries, Germany, sweden and so forth.

  • Stalin said, " We took enough land from the Finns to bury our dead on."

  • @poetlionheart give it back fucken robbers the lands stolen from finland and poland

  • War of 1939/1940, Finland and Russia (USSR) 1-0!

    2011 Ice Hockey Finland - Russia 3:0!

The Tale of a small nation is able to overcome a great empire;)

    Be proud Findland

  • @Katazka so your american?

  • It's amazing to think that the Russians are still cunts.

  • @chica476 too true

  • if it waset for the soviet union you would be living in nazi germany

  • @jiggyrules Not really. If it wasnt for ANY of the resistant countries, least of all the Soviets since they are why the Germans grew so large in the first place, then we'd be living... well still in our own countries not in Nazi Germany lol. So ignorant.

  • @jiggyrules No we'd all probably be speaking American ;)

  • We should also recall the white Finns were armed by and fought along with the Nazis as the Soviets moved west after the Nazi invasion.

  • @brianofoblivion, You mean after the Nazi invasion of Russia through Operation Barbarossa? If so that would be called the Continuation War and Russia got thrown out of Finland as Finland pushed Russia back. England declared war on Finland and listed Finland as part of the Axis even though England condemend Russia for their intial invasion. The US didnt get upset with Finland until they crossed their 1939 border and took some ground from Russia in an attempt to build a buffer like Russia did.

  • @Milner62 u need to history better

  • @iamrossok, u need to communicate better

  • Poor Russians move forward Finns shoot you, move backward commissars shoot you.

  • @cbob0080 not all the time. it was only in staligrad at the most desperate hour. when there was no retreat. winter war was not battle for their home land so retreat was an option when it served purpose.

  • brave soldier

  • I hate Russia too!

    :)

  • The Brave Finnish Solder, one of the Greatest Forces in the world.

  • what is the second song

  • @DanGielda its the theme song from battlefeild 1941..43.

  • If only our soldiers in my country have resisted the soviet occupation that bravely.(1940 Soviet invasion of Lithuania)

  • Salute to brave finnish soldiers

  • ..SALUTO FROM POLAND...

  • God Bless the brave Finns who stood their ground against Stalin's greed.

  • Why aren't they using bayonets?

  • @Dieselnut216 Because this film is for teenagers.

  • hahaha battlefield music when the tank comes. my great grand father was in this war. I think he was an officer.

  • Well done!

    Long live Finland,greetings from Estonia!

  • Winland for the win

  • interesting to see how the finns are supplied with german weapons and helmets

  • The USA respects the bravery of the few Finnish who stood against those commie bastards.

  • @Cowbelltheoneandonly yeah and fighted together with your big friend hitler ... russia was your ally back then >.<

  • @Tvvugt

USA and Russia were never really Allies. We still hated each other, but you know the enemy of my enemy is my friend, right?

  • what is te song at 1:10?

  • @ARTONY92 Battlefield 2 theme

  • Nordic peoples are the best in the world.

  • cool video but, molotov is russian. so actully you mean russian secret weapon. and the funny thing is "Sätt eld i röven på den" means put the fire in its ass. in swedish :P

  • @Arifboy163 The Finnish invented the "modern" molotov cocktail. It is named after the Russian foreign minister Vyacheslav Molotov. Get your fact right before you claim that someone else is wrong, when you are wrong.

  • I'm german and my grandfather in germany was a secret oposer of the nazis.

    go finland

  • I´m from finland and russia is stupid russia have got loser attack

  • @pandanpallero1 Such grammar makes baby Jesus cry.

  • @pandanpallero1 Blame Stalin for killing the good generals and replacing them with noobs cuz of the great purge

  • i read a book on the war. very detailed. i really loved the Molotov cocktails.

  • SUCKS.

  • This peace of film is a good reminder what Russians wanted to give to Europe and to Finland. At the end they showed what communism and spreading of peace means to other nations. Finland deserves and commends respect and gratitude of all nations for resisting Russians. Let it be a warning to other nations what Russia has for them. Salute finish soldiers and nation. With brotherly greetings from Poland and USA.

  • @Podlasiakpl then u would have a guy with a weird mustache as u dictator. Both ways wtill salute america.

  • @Podlasiakpl Russians are just superpower like USA or china. and it whuld seeme to me that all superpowers are not afraid to hurt their smaler neiborghs. unlike many people think, xenophobia and tribal thinking are hardwired in to us. human tribes whuld fight eachoter just bechose of fear of being invaided by other. i took education and had work to gain tolerance. unfortunetly, lazyness is allso harwired in to us.

  • battlefield 1942 music grymt

Joten Rautasaapaissa kohti Murmanskia teki "Natseille" isot tappiot!

  • hur fick du tag i klippet?

(in english: how did you get this clip?)

  • It's a movie ( Det är en film )

  • är du svensk? älskar den filmen

  • Can't wait to see this movie ,Heard the Finns fought impossible odds against the Russians.

Toobad they had to use German helmets -However we in the US wear "fritz" helmets

that look remarkably like nazi helmets!

  • FINLAND!

  • Unlike many other of the axis, these men actually fought for freedom from the begining, not to the end :O

  • @PoppingSanta actually, it's hard to agree that finland ever was part of the axis. i'd say there's a difference between having a common enemy and being friends or even real allies

  • @sorenti

    From WikiAnser, took me about 3 sec to google;

"The axis also included minor powers such as Finland, Slovenia, Hungary, Manchkuo, Romania, Thailand, Persia and more"

You are not the one to decide if Finland where part of the axis or not.

  • Finland wasn't an Axis. Finland didn't sign Axis pact. Allied knew finnish special position with Germany. Read about the meeting of Teheran, where three bigs met each other. Then you know that even Stalin had to accept that Finland wasn't a part of Axis. When Germany with Axis countries declared war against USA, Finland didn't. Allied didn't demand unconditional surrendering from Finland as it did with Axis forces like Romania. So you are not a person who deciding was Finland Axis country.

  • my grandfather fought in that war, rest in peace.

  • Tell me about it.

  • what movie is this

  • One thing I am not seeing are the bayonets on the Russian Nagants. Maybe it was a practice started after the Winter War, but I thought the Red Army always fought with fixed bayonets.

  • HAH! Battlefield 2 theme :]

  • its film about Russia-Finland war

  • cause finns drink also alot.

  • what movie was this?

  • Movie is "Talvisota"

  • russians had more men but they didnt prepare to war so good

  • @MetallicArocksYEAH actually they did.

  • It's a very good work of operetor and montage. My respect for you!!!

  • finnish army had and still has a good trained army greets from holland

  • russia really had nooby tactics-

  • "nooby" go back to video games...

  • maybe you should.

  • Someone should read about the winter war before comment. Good video btw.

  • Glory for brave Finnish soldiers!

    Greetings from Poland

  • russia = drunk lossers

  • There is not a single piece of evidence to contradict that! :)

  • 90% of poeple in russia die from alcohol (National Geographic)

  • WHAT?!?! You should maybe put down the bottle of Vodka, lay down the crack-pipe, sober up and then rethink your statement.

  • @thestaggie

nah, this is 100% true story :p fins figth for freedom.

  • stereotype

  • @Petrokurak America: Fat people with shotguns.

    Fuck stereotypes.

  • @MultiMattStudios OH REALLY...America is Fat people with shotguns? YOU and YOUR MEN and WOMEN were raped and pillaged by the Germans and the Russians....WE WON THE WAR...We Americans wooped ass and Liberated you pussies...so when you start thinking your country is better than ours...remember that America is number 1 in everything and POLS are WEAK Inferior people ...we beat the Germans and kept the Russians from taking your lands bitch...TEXAS OUT

  • @AntBanks2626 Well fuck you, kept the Russians from taking our land? I'm Dutch, not Polish... And America is nothing but some remains of European immigrants and African slaves. There actually was a big chance that America was Dutch and you would be speaking Dutch and New York would have his original name: Nieuw Amsterdam. Now stop saying that your country is #1 because we are going into a crisis and just had one because your people can't use money.

  • @AntBanks2626 uh In a sense the Russians won the European war they got to Germany first and put their flag up first on the Reich-stag so yeah My argument 1 your argument zero and dude they way you talk is why no one likes America you talk big but when it comes to it you just talk big if you lose a fist fight you probably would get the pistol from your car and shoot the guy because you're just a bitch

  • @AntBanks2626 I rather be enslaved by russkiys or germans than u amerikano punks....

  • @Petrokurak Stereotypes, huh?

You know what they say about Poles...

  • No.

    -Finns had the awesome M31.

It was built-to-last weapon, and exeptionally accurate SMG, used as a SAW or a LMG roles.

PPSh-41 used a drum mag copied from an M31, but these two SMG's were not similar.

Finns did produce their own version from the PPSh-43, later on during the wars.

  • Heil to Finnish heroes...

  • smg=finnish suomi m31 smg

  • Can you find too many films where you have T-26 tank roaming around?

-This movie give detailed and accurate description of Finnish troopers.

Soviet weapons were of good quality, and Finns got huge piles of them from Motti's, as well as from the killing fields.

-During the Winter War times, there was there about 4-5 hours of sunlight, it was pitch-black the rest of the time.

  • and cause before the war the soviets shipped their weapons to european countries

  • Never hear about it, have u some prove link?

  • Finns are wearing German WW1 stock items, not Nazi Germany gear.

-Please read about this war beforehand.

Finns used whatever possible gear we got our hands on, at least six different helmets and as many good Soviet weapons as we could plunder.

  • 5 for using battlefield 1942 music
