My daughter has asked Santa for a magic wand that can "levitate me for real mommy" for Christmas. I bet your daughters could help Santa make that happen! Lol! Great job!
3/4" Plywood, 1/8" plywood, 4x4 posts, 1" steel rods with washers and bolts, Plexiglass tubes so cover rods, various wood screws, Lexan sheeting, red, yellow and black spray paint, masking tape...and obviously... a lot of 1/4" x 1" rare earth neodymium iron boron magnet magnets :)
Which tools? The magnets or the power tools? The only power tools they used were a small hand held sander and a hand held battery drill/driver. While not in the shot, they were always supervised of course.

aren't these tools a bit dangerous for kids this age to handle by themselves?
