I counter any akimbo shotguns with the shotty attached to the FAL. Its has impressive range and hardly any hit markers. In a CQB it is my favorite shotgun hands down.

i have also my own opinion.the model 1887 was first made in the year 1887 thats right. but it was reproduced and modernized.some of the reproduced models came out in the late 2008. the striker for example, was first created in the year 1970 and than it got modernized and so on. what i mean is that the most of the weapons from MW2 are not new.in call of duty 4 there was for example the G3, in MW2 there is now the FAL wich is older than the G3.but bouth will not be used anymore by the military.
MW2 doesn't mean Modern guns. It means modern day tactics, and considering the U.S.A didn't use them in the game, that was a pointless statement. The Models have been patched twice. Just because you get your ass kicked by the Models doesn't mean MW2 is bullshit.

If you think about it, the storyline for CoD4 and MW2 are based in Russia during the Nuclear arms race, or 'The Cold War' which is about 50 or so years ago and people still used these guns...

yes it is true that the ump45, tar 21, ak47, and m240(well idk about that one) kill with 2 shots but notice the ump45, tar 21, and ak47 are the most inaccurate guns in the game. the scar is as accurate as the m4a1, which is one of the most accurate guns in the game. so think of it....a ak47 that has the accuracy to kill almost instantly at any range. and yes i know i cant spell so no need to correct me just trying to voice my opinion.
@phantom82188 well if you know how to use the usp (pistol) you can have great range i know how to use it i got all challenges for it including the preistiege ones and scar has a slower fire rate so you can get enough m4 shots to kill in the same amount of scar (approximently)

If I equip an army with Models, and take over a town, using old jet fighters, with heavy Armour. That is Modern. Modern includes the U.S tactics, and Iraqi tactics. One is poor, one is advanced.

dude your just shit and cant get to lv 67 to unlock them. they made them a high level gun for a reason. i don't see the point of models now since the range is patched and they're pretty much.... useless! infinity ward should consider before changing the damage and range of a gun which is on a really high level to unlock.

@TheHawtShizzle You don't understand the oncept of balance. Balance is there to make sure that no gun is so dominant that there is no point in using them. Making it a high level unlock doesn't mean the gun is balanced at all. They aren't balanced after the patch because they are so awful, but were FAR, far too good before the patch.

im rlly suprized no 1 has ever said(at least not on video) anything bout another completely overpowered gun(at least with stopping power) the Scar. evry1 complained bout the m16 in CoD4 sayin it was overpowered cause it would always kill in 1 3shot burst even if u shot at the foot but no 1 says anything bout the scar which kills in 2bullets? idk they say theyre ballenced cause of the slower reload time but when a gun is that powerful youll b able 2 take out at least 4 ppl before having 2 reload

yes it is true that the ump45, tar 21, ak47, and m240(well idk about that one) kill with 2 shots but notice the ump45, tar 21, and ak47 are the most inaccurate guns in the game. the scar is as accurate as the m4a1, which is one of the most accurate guns in the game. so think of it....a ak47 that has the accuracy to kill almost instantly at any range. and yes i know i cant spell so no need to correct me just trying to voice my opinion.

@phantom82188 well if you know how to use the usp (pistol) you can have great range i know how to use it i got all challenges for it including the preistiege ones and scar has a slower fire rate so you can get enough m4 shots to kill in the same amount of scar (approximently)

eh i guess so. i have all the attachments on the usp45 and i love it so much better then the usp in CoD4. it just bugs me when ppl who actually are good use guns that were ment for the beginner players who cant use anything else properly. A bit off subject but for example, when players used to use juggernaut or myrtordom in the older CoD's and they are high prestiges. just things like that tend to bug me a lil.

Well i'll skip over the grammatical errors and what not, but I was refering to the model 1887's range, and the ability for a shotgun to neutralize a target much faster (on shot) than an automatic, small bore sub machine gun. None of the Akimbo weapons in MW2 are practical or realisitc. Pure novelty, but this gun is pretty much equally effective in MW2, akimbo or not. TWAT.

the kick all depends on the gauge. a 12 gauge in real life could blow a hole the size of a fist in someone from 50 yards away. i don't know what gauge model 1887's are, but if you're strong enough you prabably could dual-wield them, and they would be powerful as hell, but horribly inaccurate.
