I used the free version of FRAPS. A little difficult as you can only take 30 secs of footage at a time. For editing I used Windows Movie Maker on XP Pro. It was really easy to use for a movie making n00b like myself. If you need some tips PM me on the forums. I work a lot so dont expect to quick of a reply :)
