  • People Shut the fuck up. Its a good edit. PLEASE NOTE, I have nothing against russians, but it was a good edit. All yall haters get the fuck off this page

  • It was a good edit, to bad the planet clip shows them firing into an ocean... wait that doesn't make sense either way O__o

  • what episode it is?

  • @LeafMaster510 Ori ships from "The Road Not Taken" and Moscow from "Absolute Power".

  • Comment removed

  • what music is this?

    PLEASE ANSWER

  • If you look closely you can see that the ori beam is actually made of three really long projectiles.

  • The main weapon of the Ori mothership is not a projectile weapon, it is an energy-based weapon. And i'm sure what you mistook as three separate "projectiles" was probably a variation in the intensity of the beam. A fluctuation, if you will.

  • It would've been very ironic (and amusing) in the series had Adria made it to Earth in one of the Ori motherships and fired on Fox Headquarters before being stopped by the latest plot device. Then there could've been a scene at the end where SG-1 is looking at the wreckage talking about the Simpsons and Firefly.

  • LOL, thats not the orie like did. that was a satelite designed by an child like gave it to daniel somehow thru theyr minds. It's supossed to defend the tau'ri from the goa'uld!.

Think it was the son of apophis nad hur wife Anome or somthing like that-

  • The footage of Moscow being destroyed is from a different episode, before the Ori even show up. It's the episode where they find the Goa'uld kid who gives Daniel Jackson a vision of what would happen if he told them how to defend Earth from the Goa'uld using Goa'uld technology

  • Great episode. Except Daniel kind of creeps me out, especially when he says "How do you know this isn't what I wanted all along" -shiver-

  • That's the point of it, to show the full extent of the Goa'ulds Evil is by corrupting the one character who is suppose to be on a Incorruptible level of Good

  • I think you're right. I hadn't really thought of it like that.

  • And now you know

And knowing is half the battle!

  • The directors showed the kid loading the knowledge of snake tech into Daniel, I always wondered why they didn't just load it into a supercomputer.

That way they wouldn't get corrupted.

  • That would have made the Humans to powerful to early on

Besides the notion of the episode was Absolute Power Corrupts, giving that knowledge to Daniel corrupted him. If the Kid gave it to a computer it wouldn't have had such an effect if any on the characters potential morality

  • i understand the reasons for not doing it that way from the writers perspective, however, logically it was major fail for them not to do it.

Besides, if they wanted to make a story out of it, they could have had the computer that had the knowledge blow up or stolen.

  • Daniel is the morality character, he needs to undergo various Moral Tests to remain on the right track. Logically speaking, that little kid was wise as Confucius and Chrysippus rolled into one chew bar; he would have realized that all that power gain without the struggle of earning it would have made them drive it, and themselves, into the ground

I blame Oma and her rules. If he had of given them the tech, though, Prometheus would've looked more Goa'uld influenced rather than Asgard influenced

  • Goa'ld designs suck compared to asgard and prometheus does kick butt, but if a death star showd up they all would be screwed

  • A Death Star would kick ass in the Stargate Universe, providing it was a complete version of the Death Star 2 without that pesty weakness like the first one had, which could be played upon with 302's or Death Gliders as the X-Wings did

However a Death Star would have trouble with a Battlefleet Gothic Imperial Navy Battleship, from Warhammer 40k, which has weapons capable to reducing and entire planet to molton rock in minutes by itself

There will always be a bigger, better ship it would seem

  • Actually, the Death Star could be destroyed by an F-302 or a modified puddle jumper, or even an Al'kesh, the ship just exits hyperspace inside the Death Star, blows up the main reactor, and jumps back into hyperspace before the ship explodes, this is because Stargate Hyperdrives let them pass through solid matter, shields, and pretty much all known defenses besides the Aterro Device.

  • I was talking about the Second Death Star. , F-302's might have seom trouble with their wingspan, Alkesh with their hight although a Puddle Jumper could do it. Depends if it had Stealth. If it didn't then it have EXTREME difficulty getting through it's defenses

I'll agree that the Hyperspace jumping to get both inside or outside of a target would be a stroke of genius, but the calculations required would be abserd and for nought if it moved even the slightest

  • Well, the space inside the Death Star at least appeared huge when the Falcon made its attack run, enough for the 302 and puddle jumper though admittedly, the Al'kesh might have issues. Stealth systems come standard on jumpers, al'keshes and the hyperdrive can be used from outside the range of the defenses. Sam was able to calculate hyperspace jumps inside Anubis's shields fairly quickly but you're right, the DS would have to have little to no velocity for it to work.

  • @ThePitofSidLord They'd kick ass until the Replicators came. As they're immune to energy weapon even the DS's main weapon would be useless.

  • I think you missed the point of the episode.

  • i understood the point, MY point is that the way they went about it doesn't make sense. Just like when they're running around killing jafa but don't take the staff weapons when they kill them all. (seeing as the SGC's primary mandate is to collect tech to defend the earth.) It's a great show, there's just a few things here and there that don't jive with the rest of it.

  • @Jeff55369

Agreed. I was watching that SG1 episode where they go to the planet with the all the elitist racists living underground.

Now fair enough that they didn't help them but SG1 actively sabotaged their base and helped destroy them when really their goal was simply to procure advanced technology - something they could have done with ease.

It would have even made more sense to come back with squads and kill everyone then steal their stuff and leave rather than just destroy it all.

  • atleast it was not a random unpopulated area in norway:)

  • Fake lol, The planet was Chulak similar to earth he just edited it

  • In Soviet Russia, you cannot lift the weights because the weights will lift you.

  • this is like a joke or?????

  • yes, it's a joke xD

in soviet russia everything is turned upside down, that's why there you don't drive the car, the car drives you :P

  • wtf no its' not...

  • In soviet russia everione is chuck norris.

  • As most SG-1-watching people realised: it's not the Ori. The part with Moscow is from the episode "Absolute Power", and it's (a power-corrupted) Daniel doing the destruction (not in real life, just in the dream Shifu gave him) ... Still, this is a rather disturbing episode, and any Daniel fans that haven't seen it yet might want to leave it unseen.

  • IN SOVIET RUSSIA, MOSCO LAZER YOU!

  • thats not REAL! thats 2 SG eps put togeather the one where sam goes to a other reality and jackson gets apophis kid

  • Good it was only Moscow and not some important city. Who`ll miss a few windy sheds and the village drunk ;)

  • YAY ^_^!

  • does anyone know the name or number of the second episode?

  • i've seen both episodes which these where cropped from first 1 is the episode where Carter is sent into another reality wher the Ori attack Earth the 2nd 1 is when Daniel dreams he gets all the knowledge of the Gou'old from from the Harseses child and pwns Moscow with a defence satilite he build

    crazy dream :)

  • Yes daniel takes control of earth and builds a satalite that shoots a lazer beam the other part with the ori ships is when the ori ships attack another plannet becasue SG-1 is using fase shift technology to hide the building they are in. Lies Lies Lies.

  • @TheaceF18 That wasn't a laser beam it was paricale beam weapon.

    It was the ag-3 sattelite.

  • @gun844 Lazer beam sounds simpler and i prefer it to particle beam.

  • It is a fake. That is not the Ori. Daniel build those uber satellite weapons after becoming all powerful. It was all a dream. Story: absolute power corrupts absolutely.

  • @EVariation good quote i forget who said it

  • Nice video splicing... but I just wish the Special Effects guys REMADE the Ori beam cannon. It looks too much "Goa'uld" in color (yellowish). I should've been white or blue.

  • they couldnt made it blue if they did it would be asgard......

  • Wraith also have blue energy colors.

Well, the Ori Soldiers' weapons fire blue energy pulses. Add that to the blueish-white colored glowing sphere on the ships...

So shouldn't blue energy beams make more sense?

Also, I always thought that the Ori Warriors should've worn something similar to Kull Warrior armor. Then the Ori would be a REAL threat to everyone.

  • well both the wraith and the ori soldiers fire blue energy PULSES* not beams i think it like took alot more advanced technology to use it as a sustained beam.

  • Did you notice how the Asgard Transport Beam FX from "Thor's Chariot" was recycled into the Wraith Culling beam?

Then you have those blue beams and Goa'uld beams being recycled as well.

  • well that beam wasnt a weapon!!!! it was a transport beam T-R-A-N-S-P-O-R-T B-E-A-M!!!!

  • Do you understand english? I said that the ASGARD TRANSPORT BEAM special effects was REUSED as the Wraith Culling Beam.

I never said anything about those beam being weapons.

  • i beilieve that it is you that do not understand english referral: T-R-A-N-S-P-O-R-T B-E-A-M!!!!

    moron...

  • "english referral" That made no grammatical sense.

This will the 3rd time Im posting this: the special effects used in the Thor's Chariot episode of the ASGARD TRANSPORTER BEAM was reused by the special effects guys working on Atlantis as the WRAITH CULLING BEAM.

Culling Beam is not a weapon, and I never said it was a weapon. Where did I ever say that it was a weapon?

Google "culling" and see what that word means since you dont seem to understand.

  • well first it was suposed to be a , between english and referral and i think u have gone of the point of which this conversation began. because it begin with that u wanted the ori to fire blue energy beams but i said it probably needed more advanced tech to make such devices. hope u understand now.

  • The Ori basically use the same Ancient technology. What Im emphasizing is how the Special Effects Deparment should have used different colors. The Ori Beam has the same color and design as the Goa'uld-based beam weapons from the AG-3s from the SG1 season 4 episode "Absolute Power."

  • ahh now i understand and agree with you although i havent seen absolute power...

  • Alien sons of abitch - I was born near this place !!

  • Somebody gotta tell the Ori the Cold War is over for a while... XD XD

  • Well spotted with the 2 episodes

  • that is from a nother season....the beam is from the defense satelites that Jackson build with the help of the harsesis child

  • Amen to that, I hate it when people splice things together to fool us. They think that we don't know footage from previous episodes, hello, been watching it for years.

  • someone might've been fooled

  • lol thats funny. well done.

  • hey guys you talk too much...If earth will be invaded, the best way to fight this type of enemy is using combined nuclear and biological weapons...this will be responded by the UN immediately..regardless of the cost of Human life

  • Nice Editingg

  • Sorry, but this is not from the ark of truth, they are a compilation of two different episodes mixed into one. The scene wher eit shows the Ori at earth is form season 10 where Carter goes to an alternate reality, and the scene showing the destruction of Moscow is from season 5 I believe, where the child Harsesis show Daniel what would happen to him if he was given the knowledge the child has.

Good try though, A for effort

  • If i not mistaken it not season 5 but rather season 4 "absolute power" darn i am dying to see that eps get posted here :).

  • The Moscow scene is from Season 4, Episode 17 to be exact ;).

And the shot of the Ori ships is from Season 10, Episode 13 "The Road Not Taken".q

  • Thats what I was going to say lol.

  • WHAT ????????????? I thought the Ori are Dead ! How can they destroy Moskow ???? FUCKING BITCHES OMFG !

  • maybe the Ori are dead but their servants a priors are not :) but only if this clip is placed in the time before The Ark of truth movie because after it they're not threat anymore :D

  • ok question? the clip above is (suposedly) from the ark of truth and well after whatching the film i can safely say that clip is not in the film however! i know that the contuim is soon to be realesd and that could very well have the clip in it but for now i know that, that clip is 100% not in the film.

  • Wait wait wait. Did you just call Poland a 'military power'? Because if so, then sir, I lol at you.

  • Not only was that from the show, that was Daniel shooting Moscow, not the Ori.

  • FAKE...........

  • Hallowed are the Ori

  • that from the tv show dick

  • The moscow being destroyed is taken from the episode where Daniel supposedly went psycho after gaining all the G'oulad knowledge and built some orbital weapon and blew up moscow to demo his power. But it was all in his head.

  • No, I think it might be from the Season 10 episode "The Road Not Taken."

  • Nope,Numbers up there is right bout moscow, but your right bout the other clips of the Ori

  • ok, so it is from other episodes.

Congradulations on editing it together so well

  • funny how the village is in the middle of the ocean

  • pretty neat... now how about one blowing up the White House? :p

  • no not as good

  • Heh heh heh xD they hit Moscow =]

  • ha ha ha

  • Combination of:

    Road not Taken (10:13)

    Line in the sand (10:12)

    Absolute power (04:17)

  • nop, only "Road not Taken" and "Absolute Power"

  • line in the sand too >________> when the ori ship is shooting down towards the village

  • Why Moscow? Cald War Era has ended a long time ago. Where this hatred comes from?

  • In the Ori's eyes they must have seen it as a strategic power. Why else would they attack Moscow? If i were them I would have tageted Paris, London, or Washington D.C.

  • In that case I agree, but there were other military powers such as US, France, UK, Japan, China, Spain and Poland (the last one before 1989)

  • Those are the capitals of US, Paris, and France.

  • POLAND! SPAIN!? What u been smoking pal?

  • don't measure strenght of army by number of soldiers. Poland's army was the second strongest army in East European bloc, and third in socialist bloc :) But it is a matter of the past now. and to Spain, yes it was and is one of most advanced armies. Of course it is no match to US (wchich is most offencive and aggresive one) nor Russia. Remember, Spain had military dictatorship

  • Neither Poland or Spain possess a powerful air force, have ICBM's with nuclear warheads or large troop numbers so in the present time neither you would class as military powers. I agree they may have been semi-powers in the 80's as in affecting the European landscape but not worldwide.

  • This is correct, but you should remember that Poland's army was defensive type. It couldn't go to choosen point of the world. It was just meant to operate on the area of the country.

  • if you think americas army is effective then take a sneak peak at iraq

  • ouch, that hurts...but it's true

  • lol

  • FAKE! Combination of:

    Road not Taken (10:13)

    Line in the sand (10:12)

    Absolute power (04:17)

  • Wonder why they would destroy Moscow first, nvm about that lol. Cool compilation :D

  • the russians r part of the SGC

  • Fake

  • duh it is a show

  • Any way it fits very well, and it's a cool vid...;D

  • This is from the epis. The road not taken(13) from season 10 and absolute power(17) from season 4

  • Lol I knew straight away as soon as it read Moscow you would use that clip where daniel fires his defense sat at it, but still i wouldent of thought of it pretty damn inventive, great work man. :)

  • i like it, very funny how ppl can get so easily over such a small thing, quite pathetic really.

  • fake :D

you took a part of season10 where sam is in an alternate universe and the ori attack earth

plus one scene where Jackson builds up a anti goa uld satelite system and fires up moscow since they try to shoot one of his satelites :P

  • schönes video^^

    gut rausgeschnitten :D

  • Ooooooohhhh!, it's a very good video... congratulations.

  • out of fun or boredom... there's no need for you to fall for that, that wasn't the idea...it's just a compositon! don't take it personally, man!

  • it's a cool clip despite what some people here have said
