I grew up in the 70-s and I listened to a lot of these songs. The one thing I wish you could have done is to give the names of the artists and their songs. I was raised on the other side of the pond, so there were many artists that Americans were not aware of. A lot of them won Eurovision music competition. To name a few Boney M, ABBA, Arabesque, Smokie, Italian pop music from San Remo festivals, Al Bano and Romina Power, the Dutch groups Pussycat, Teach-in, etc., etc.

I grew up listening to 80s and early 90s stuff, but in the 80s, the 1970s songs were still heavily played.

Music in the 1970s and 1980s was good -- 90s was kind of okay esp early 90s, but it got worse as the decade went along and `00'to `11 is mainly pure garbage with a few notable exceptions.
