thats a question i had about a few of these vids. you guys have these things kinda high for some of the stuff, do u fight people that are 6' 7" or something. they do seem to be set kinda tall
Arms need to be a little thicker to represent real forearms, or at least have different thicknesses of arms, also needs to be a way to adjust tension or resistance of arms, just a thought. Pretty neat training device though.
agreed! haha, you don't haf change your perspective when you get taht ONE straight in the eye haha! I was buzzing and just enjoyed it more haha! Whats the point and fun in a good old spar if you think your opponent has no chance at even landing one?..
make it wooden and harder to move, do the hitting much slower and do it over time so it looks like you are training. sure add speed to it, but don't forget the power, there is no hard training without hard material to hit..
I agree with 100%. We also make tradition wing chun dummy as well. This is just another tool to aid in training when a partner is not available for practice. Wooden dummy training is awesome, but it does lack the flexibility, and does not give any energy back to user. Hitman was never intended to replace wooden dummy, but to be used in addition to it. That is my opinion from someone who trained in Wing Chun for 4 years on both pieces of equipment. Check my site: warrior martial art supply com
what ppl need is some sort of dummy that has limbs just like a persons and that is free standinga nd can stand on to legs and also be put on the ground so that you can practise locks, chokes and submissions on it
Well yes but I know these days that no two ppl are free at the same time everyday, just like me so I'm stuck with my bag at home until the weekend usually.
Thanks dude, guy was being a real dick. I dont mind constructive criticism, but peolpe jut want to hurt others and I am not about that until you push my buttons. Happy New year!!
JKD...errrr don't think the late Mr Lee would've been too impressed. Dodgy structure, timing, transitions, energy focus etc. Some of your drills resemble Randy William,s stuff, but lack his stunning, highly trained technical insight and ability.
Looks like stuff learned from a dvd series to me. If you paid for yopur training get a refund.
Then go and PRACTICE slowly, carefully and don't be tempyed to rush ahead too fast.
Spend a year or two on your 1st form and get tidy.

this looks really cool but does it allow you to practice all the trapping techniques in wing chun or is it limited to what you can do with the arms

if you enjoy doing this, you shoudl try learning how to fight. self defense is important and who knows you might be good at it
hobbesthecat7 2 years ago
two things i have learned about fighting throughout my life.
1) getting punched in the face changes everything (so you need to spar hard)
2) you move around way more then you ever think you would.
